We have 3 power cuts today, 4am, 2pm and 10pm tonight and let me tell you that it is difficult to work in between, but we simply endure and carry on.
I noticed the new strange clouds coming over and the weatherman reckons that tons of rain is going to fall further inland. So in the future when these skies appear, I will know what to expect.

What can I say? I was stunned when I saw the photos after I had downloaded them on to the PC.
An unexpected windfall to witness this afternoon event in the sky. Some birds played the game, by coming over and I have a bag full of more photos that I took. To the naked eye all of the scenes looked even better, but my Canon did the job fairly well, methinks:)
We are not only blessed with abundant nature, as the skies are also so worthwhile to keep an eye on.
I am sure that you will agree that this is not too bad.

It is sad that our life is now governed by when we have power to do thing like have food and coffee/tea. I am not enjoying this at all as it has kind of started to wear a little thin and don't have patience for stupidity and incompetence.
Agreed and by now you know that it was escalated to Level 5. Ted Blom reckons it's a lie and that they are in fact now at Level 7 or 8. Kusile is a brand new powerstation and it only shows you the effects that corruption can deliver. So another 5-8 years of this stuff awaits.
And to beat it all they want to increase the electricity prices by 32% next year.

We are in a spot of trouble over here as they have lifted our power cuts to level 6 now.
So we were shut off at 10am this morning, until 2.30pm this afternoon. Another shut off awaits at 8pm, a couple of minutes from now.
Such is life!

I followed your advice and have gone into the mountains. At the moment I am in my sleeping bag in the van and hope I will not freeze during the night because a cold wind is blowing outside and there's even some snow. I am at 2,320 meters altitude on a parking lot at the "3 Zinnen" - "Tre Cime di Lavaredo". The weather was cold but nice today, but the cloudless sky was boring.
If the weather is nice tomorrow morning I will go on a hike around the 3 Zinnen - wishing you a great day tomorrow, my friend 🌞
