Estuve un poco de tiempo ausente, es que he estado mal de manera emocional. Hace poco se han llevado de mi lado a mi nieta Lis, cosa que me ha afectado mucho, me pone triste todo el contexto que le toca vivir y peor aun, los motivos por los cuales me fue arrebatada. Eso me deprimió bastante y paralizó los planes que tenía, poco a poco he tratado de retomar mi vida y las actividades que generalmente hacía. Una de las cosas que he decidido retomar es la costura, mi amiga me dijo que me ayudaría con la venta de las cosas que vaya haciendo. Ella esta animandome mucho, me apoya y esta a mi pendiente. Una de las cosas que he hecho hoy son Lazos en Tul para Niña, este tipo de accesorio me trajo bastante nostalgia y a la vez fue un pequeño paso para adentrarme a una nueva aventura.

They recently took my granddaughter Lis from my side, something that has affected me a lot, the whole context in which she has to live makes me sad and even worse, the reasons why she was taken from me. That depressed me a lot and paralyzed the plans she had, little by little I have tried to get back to my life and the activities I usually did. One of the things that I have decided to take up is sewing, my friend told me that she would help me with the sale of the things I make. She is encouraging me a lot, she supports me and she is watching out for me. One of the things I have made today are Tulle Bows for Girls, this type of accessory brought me a lot of nostalgia and at the same time it was a small step to enter a new adventure.
Mi amiga Carmen ha estado muy contenta, animandome e incluso hace un par de días estuvo interrogandome sobre cosas de que nombre tendría el emprendimiento, colores que quisiera y más...De repente al otro día apareció con unas imágenes que diseñó para mi emprendimiento y con una cantidad de etiquetas impresas. Me dijo que eran para colocarle a cada cosa que hiciera y se vendiera, ella es un amor. Saltaba de emoción al contarme todo, la verdad estoy muy agradecida por ello. Ella siempre ha tenido buena fé en mí.
My friend Carmen has been very happy, encouraging me and even a couple of days ago she was questioning me about what the name of the business would be, what colors I wanted and more...Suddenly the next day she appeared with some images that she designed for my business and with a number of printed labels. She told me that they were to put on everything she made and sold, she is a sweetheart. She was jumping with excitement when she told me everything, the truth is I am very grateful for it. She has always had good faith in me.
Carmen es muy hábil y creativa. Esa misma etiqueta la insertó como en una especie de tabloide y lo mandó a imprimir. Se ven tan lindas las etiquetas, pequeñamente hermosas. Aquí les muestro una foto:

Hoy me animé a realizar algunos lazos, para incorporarles a la línea de accesorios de niña. Usé algunas piedras y apliques pequeños, además de cinta raso, tela de tul. El procedimiento es bastante sencillo, además de que la costura se realiza solo en el centro del lazo. Para ello solo necesitamos una aguja común e hilo, y saber algunas puntadas de costura a mano.
Today I decided to make some bows to add to the line of girl's accessories. I used some small stones and appliqués, as well as satin ribbon and tulle fabric. The procedure is quite simple, plus the sewing is done only in the center of the bow. To do this we only need a common needle and thread, and know some hand sewing stitches.

Proceso de Creación / Creation Process
Comencemos con el modelo que tiene el unicornio en el centro.
Cortamos el tul con medidas de 23 x 38 cm. Cuadramos cada extremos en manera de que el centro nos quede ubicado. En cada lado colocamos las cuentas o detalles decorativos. Doblamos de los lados hacía el centro, y después de los extremos al centro. Por dicho centro, realizamos la costura y fruncimos.
Let's start with the model that has the unicorn in the center.
We cut the tulle with measurements of 23 x 38 cm. We square each end so that the center is located. On each side we place the beads or decorative details. We fold from the sides to the center, and then from the ends to the center. Through this center, we sew and gather.

En cinta raso cortamos un par de listones que uniremos las puntas al centro y unimos con costuras. He elegido un color rosa suave, pero llamativo. Lo fijamos posteriormente al centro del lazo, para ello usamos silicon. Por la parte trasera ubicamos la pinza caiman y por el centro cubriendo, colocamos un trozo de cinta más.
In satin ribbon we cut a pair of ribbons that we will join the ends to the center and join with seams. I have chosen a soft, but striking pink color. We later fix it to the center of the bow, for this we use silicone. On the back we place the alligator clip and in the center, covering it, we place one more piece of tape.

Para finalizar, nos resta colocarle un aplique en el centro. Esta vez le he colocado un lindo unicornio colorido. Para la venta, le he colocado una base rectangular hecha con cartulina, le corté los bordes y colocado un agujero en el centro con una perforadora. Considero que así se ve más linda la presentación. Además de haberle colocado la etiqueta y empaquetado en una bolsa plástica transparente para evitar que se pueda deteriorar.
To finish, we have to place an appliqué in the center. This time I have placed a cute colorful unicorn on it. For the sale, I placed a rectangular base made of cardboard, cut the edges and placed a hole in the center with a hole punch. I think that this way the presentation looks prettier. In addition to having placed the label and packaged it in a transparent plastic bag to prevent it from deteriorating.

Para los otros modelos, sería el mismo proceso y medida de tul. Más sin embargo, en el centro he realizado un nudo con cinta raso. En el caso del lazo con estrellas en el tul, no vi necesario colocarle cuentas o piedras, debido a que ya el estampado es bastante llamativo en si. Pero a la versión del lazo con tul azul, si le he incorporado piedras y estrellas doradas, para darle un toque diferente o giro al resultado final. Le he combinado con blanco.
For the other models, it would be the same process and tulle measurement. However, in the center I have made a knot with satin ribbon. In the case of the bow with stars on the tulle, I did not see it necessary to add beads or stones, because the print is already quite striking in itself. But in the version of the bow with blue tulle, I have incorporated gold stones and stars, to give a different touch or twist to the final result. I have combined it with white.

Mi nieta estaría feliz de ver estos lindos lazos, estoy segura de eso. A cada momento pido a Dios que la mantenga con bien, con salud y la proteja de todo mal. Quizás en un futuro, podamos estar juntas nuevamente, para así enseñarle algunas de las cosas lindas que creé pensando en ella.

Si, mi amiga Carmen ha estado como un clavel, allí pendiente de mí. Gracias a Dios, porque mi hija vive lejos y mis otros hijos fuera del país. En eso estoy amiga, retomando las cosas y tratando de llevar mejor ánimo, alentandome bajo el recuerdo de Lis y pidiendo a Dios bienestar para ella.
