Hola mis queridas amigas de la comunidad de las agujas, en estos últimos días he pensado mucho en lo que nos decía nuestra amiga @Crosheille en su carta abierta Dear NeedleWorkMonday Community escrita para todas las que mujeres que hacemos vida en esta comunidad. He pensado en cada cosa, en cada detalle y me doy cuenta que ella tiene razón, y es que si nosotras mismas no construimos una comunidad solida ¿que estamos haciendo entonces?
Debemos apoyarnos las unas a las otras y así nos haremos notar dentro de la comunidad; aquí todas pensamos distinto, cada quien tiene sus formas de trabajar, tiene sus técnicas, publica a su estilo, pero la verdad es que todas buscamos un mismo fin y es publicar para mostrar nuestro trabajo y a su vez obtener recompensa por cada cosa que hacemos.
Qué bueno que dentro de la carta se le reconozca a una de nosotras por su buen desempeño, me refiero a @Kattycrochet, ella es una chica muy linda, ¡por dentro y por fuera! en este último año hemos entablado una amistad muy bonita por WhatsApp y eso me gusta mucho. Lo que quiero decir es que ella a pesar de sus muchas ocupaciones y su situación de salud siempre ha procurado saludarnos a todas, nos deja esas palabras bonitas que nos animan y nos invitan a seguir haciendo lo que hacemos y mejor aún a que lo hagamos cada día mejor.
He notado con preocupación en otras comunidades que la calidad en las publicaciones ha bajado, no quiero ni pensar que la creatividad ha disminuido, creo que eso es algo que nunca se acaba. Si es verdad que cuando entramos en Hive se nos dio plena libertad de publicar lo que nos diera la gana, ¡es así! pero lo que también se nos dijo es que teníamos que ayudar a construir una plataforma donde se publicara contenido de calidad.
Esta parte es la que me dificulta un poco, porque veo que eso se le ha olvidado a muchos y los nuevos que vienen entrando están repitiendo el mismo patrón. Peor aún es que haya gente que les vote y les apoye solo porque hay que votar por alguien y nada más. Eso no me gusta y no lo quiero hacer, me resisto a complacerlos. Creo que si hago eso iré en contra de lo que es realmente el arte, la imaginación, la creatividad, el diseño, el color y la limpieza en el trabajo. Prefiero entonces quedarme en cero en mis publicaciones antes de volver a cometer ese error otra vez.
Aquí hay gente que trabaja muy bien, pudiera nombrar un montón de chicas a las que sigo, ese es el patrón que debemos seguir. Pero mientras haya quien apoye a esas personas no va a cambiar el patrón, por el contrario va a empeorar.
Una vez leí en una de las publicaciones de nuestra amiga @Crosheille que si no tienes nada interesante que escribir mejor no escribas nada, es normal y puede pasar que una semana, hasta dos o tres se te acabe la musa, la inspiración, pero tranquila, recárgate de energía y regresa cuando estés lista. Pues bien amigas, pido disculpas si me excedí en mi introducción, confieso que no soy perfecta, me falta mucho para serlo, pero tratemos por favor, pongámosle más a nuestros proyectos.
Mi proyecto de hoy: Como hacer una cesta Colgante.
Ahora pasemos a lo que vinimos, hoy les quiero mostrar una linda cesta colgante elaborada en la técnica de crochet, así que los invito para que vean como la hice.
Materiales que vamos a utilizar
- 50 gramos de hilo de tejer
- Aguja #3 milímetros
Paso a paso
1ra Vuelta: Para una cesta colgante de tamaño mediano empezamos tejiendo 48 cadenetas más una cadeneta que equivale a nuestro primer punto bajo, continuamos tejiendo puntos bajos por toda la vuelta hasta terminar.
2da Vuelta: Tejemos 3 cadenetas que equivalen a un punto alto, ahora vamos a poner toda nuestra atención en esta parte, vamos a tejer un punto alto saltando un punto de la base, luego volvemos a tomar hebra para tejer un punto alto en el punto de base que saltamos anteriormente. Esto nos hará tejer un punto en forma de X, repetimos el mismo proceso de la X hasta terminar la vuelta con un punto alto en el último punto de base.
• Es por eso que debes tejer desde el principio cadenetas que sean número par.
3ra Vuelta: Tejemos nuevamente un punto bajo en cada punto de base.
*Continuamos tejiendo la misma serie como se nota en la imagen hasta obtener el mismo tamaño que te dio al tejer las 48 cadenetas de inicio.
Luego que tenemos todo el cuadro tejido, unimos con la misma aguja de crochet o con aguja lanera cada lado, procura tomarte tu tiempo para que todo quede del mismo tamaño y se vea prolijo.
*** Ahora nos colocamos en la esquina superior y comenzamos a tejer puntos bajos por todo el contorno y cuando volvamos a llegar al mismo sitio tejemos 20 cadenetas al aire, continuamos tejiendo otra vuelta de puntos bajos y al llegar a donde hicimos las 20 cadenetas tejemos puntos bajos también, cortamos el hilo, hacemos puntada de seguridad y listo.***
Esta cesta la puedes decorar de la mejor manera que te guste, en mi caso le coloqué una flor del mismo tipo de hilo pero con un color que le resalte, también puedes colocarle el borde en otro color, creo que se vería hermosa. Hay muchos modelos o patrones de este tipo de cesta colgante, espero que te haya gustado y que la elabores. Esta cesta no solo sirve como decoración, sino también sirve para guardar cosas dentro del baño o en tu habitación o para colocar una planta en el jardín.
Bien amigas me despido, por favor recuerden sonreír, sean felices, la vida es muy corta para echársela a perder en cosas negativas. Si quieres ser feliz toma una aguja e hilo y ponte a tejer, veraz como se te hace la vida más bonita y se te olvidan los problemas. Chao chao.
Hello my dear friends of the needlework community, in these last days I have been thinking a lot about what our friend @Crosheille was telling us in her open letter Dear NeedleWorkMonday Community written for all of us women who make life in this community. I have thought about everything, every detail and I realize that she is right, and that is that if we do not build a solid community ourselves, what are we doing then?
We must support each other and thus we will be noticed within the community; here we all think differently, everyone has their ways of working, has their techniques, publishes in their own style, but the truth is that we all seek the same goal and is to publish to show our work and in turn get rewarded for everything we do.
How nice that inside the letter one of us is recognized for her good performance, I mean @Kattycrochet, she is a very nice girl, inside and out! in this last year we have made a very nice friendship by WhatsApp and I like that very much. What I want to say is that she despite her many occupations and her health situation has always tried to greet us all, she leaves us those nice words that encourage us and invite us to continue doing what we do and better yet to do it better every day.
I have noticed with concern in other communities that the quality of the publications has decreased, I do not even want to think that creativity has decreased, I think that is something that never ends. It is true that when we joined Hive we were given full freedom to publish whatever we wanted, that's how it is! But what we were also told is that we had to help build a platform where quality content is published.
This part is the part that makes it a little difficult for me, because I see that this has been forgotten by many and the new ones coming in are repeating the same pattern. Even worse is that there are people who vote for them and support them just because you have to vote for someone and nothing else. I don't like that and I don't want to do it, I am reluctant to please them. I think if I do that I will go against what is really art, imagination, creativity, design, color and cleanliness at work. So I'd rather stay at zero in my publications than make that mistake again.
There are people here who work very well, I could name a lot of girls I follow, that's the standard we should follow. But as long as there are those who support those people, the pattern is not going to change, on the contrary it is going to get worse.
nce I read in one of the publications of our friend @Crosheille that if you don't have anything interesting to write you better not write anything, it's normal and it can happen that one week, even two or three you run out of muse, inspiration, but relax, recharge your energy and come back when you're ready.
Well friends, I apologize if I went too far in my introduction, I confess that I am not perfect, I am far from it, but let's try please, let's put more to our projects.
Now let's move on to what we came for, today I want to show you a nice hanging basket made in the crochet technique, so I invite you to see how I made it.
- 50 grams of knitting yarn
- Needle #3 millimeter
Step by step
1st Row: For a medium sized hanging basket we start by weaving 48 chains plus one chain which equals our first single crochet, we continue weaving single crochet all the way around until we finish.
Row 2: We knit 3 chains that are equivalent to a double crochet, now we are going to put all our attention in this part, we are going to knit a double crochet skipping a stitch from the base, then we pick up the yarn again to knit a double crochet in the base stitch that we skipped previously. This will make us knit a stitch in the form of an X, we repeat the same process of the X until we finish the round with a high stitch in the last base stitch.
- That is why you must knit from the beginning chain stitches that are even numbered.
3rd Row: We knit again a single crochet in each ground stitch.
*We continue knitting the same series as shown in the image until we get the same size that you got when knitting the 48 starting chains.
After we have the whole square knitted, we join with the same crochet needle or wool needle each side, try to take your time so that everything is the same size and looks neat.
Now we place ourselves in the top corner and start knitting single crochet all the way around and when we get back to the same place we knit 20 chains in the air, we continue knitting another round of single crochet and when we get to where we did the 20 chains we knit single crochet also, cut the yarn, make a safety stitch and that's it.
You can decorate this basket in the best way you like, in my case I put a flower of the same type of thread but with a color that stands out, you can also place the edge in another color, I think it would look beautiful. There are many models or patterns of this type of hanging basket, I hope you liked it and that you make it. This basket not only serves as decoration, but also to store things in the bathroom or in your room or to place a plant in the garden.

This is why I’m grateful for those who have been here awhile that take the time to create posts in order to help inform on what quality looks like.
I am glad we have the freedom to support the content we choose to support. However, there are some who genuinely want to do their best and even ask for feedback on how they’re doing and any tips that could help improve their work. If you come across those please don’t hesitate to add in your feedback and some friendly guidance since you have been here long enough to know what is looked for. When I offer advice like this I do upvote and support the author to give them that boost of confidence to encourage them to keep going :)
We can only hope the advice and tips are taken into consideration and applied. I really appreciate how you have always taken in what I’ve shared and actually have applied it within your actions and publications, it doesn’t go unnoticed.

A ello le sumamos todos los excelentes miembros, entre ellos tu, por supuesto, quienes siempre dejan su granito de arena en las publicaciones.
Con respecto a tu publicación, me quito el sombrero, son unas hermosas fotos, un hermoso y delicado proyecto; el color de la cesta está genial y es un proyecto que sin duda me muero por realizar, espero que me quedé tan lindo como el tuyo.

Por otra parte he pensado mucho en que hay que entender que la parte monetaria es importante, también estamos aquí por eso, pero si Hive es nuestra casa entonces nuestra habitación es nuestro blog, allí es donde nos gusta estar, colocar nuestras cosas, sentirnos cómodos, entonces si este es nuestro sitio favorito vamos a llenarlo de cosas bellas, vamos a ponerle flores, que sea algo digno de mostrar al mundo y que esto quede para la posteridad. Nada mejor que sentirnos satisfechos con el deber cumplido, haciendo las cosas bien.

Gracias, gracias, gracias por este cariño transmitido en palabras y que bueno nos recuerdes que la calidad debe prevalecer. Prácticamente creo que llevamos casi el mismo tiempo compartiendo a través de nuestras publicaciones, y eso es estupendo, hemos crecido, hemos aprendido.
Que siga nuestra creatividad manifestada en buenas publicaciones, y lo más importante disfrutemos a montones y síganos apoyando...

El tejido y la creatividad nos une. Y es cierto, cada día está lleno de aprendizaje, por lo que iremos mejorando poco a poco en las publicaciones. También me dí cuenta que algunas publicaciones se están repitiendo, aún así cada uno le pone su toque especial.
Sobre la cesta colgante, como mencionó crosheille parece un sobre abierto. Se me ocurre una idea loca (para variar, jaja). Por navidad (o sino en los cumpleaños), colocar allí cartas dirigida a los miembros de la familia. Resaltando las buenas acciones del año, cómo hizo para salir de situaciones adversas o simplemente escribirle algo positivo y constructivo...ya que muchas veces nosotros mismos no nos damos cuenta de eso. ¡Buenas vibras!.
