Feliz y bendecido día mi linda familia de #NeedleWorkMonday, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la confección de una creativa y muy colorida almohadilla para alfileres en forma de Dona, fabricada en fieltro y pequeñas chispas de caramelos en hilos de bordar. Espero que lea guste ésta útil almohadilla.
Happy and blessed day my cute #NeedleWorkMonday family, today I want to share with you the making of a creative and very colorful Dona shaped pin cushion, made of felt and little candy sprinkles in embroidery threads. I hope you like this useful pin cushion.
- Fieltro fucsia, azul, beige y marrón claro.
- Patrones de la dona y el merengue.
- Hilo para bordar azul, verde, rosado y fucsia.
- Aguja e hilo blanco.
- Tijeras.
- Fuchsia, blue, beige and light brown felt.
- Doughnut and meringue patterns.
- Blue, green, pink and fuchsia embroidery thread.
- Needle and white thread.
- Scissors.
Comenzaremos marcando el patrón de la Dona sobre el fieltro marrón claro y el beige y cortamos.
We will start by marking the pattern of the Dona on the light brown and beige felt and cut it out.
Luego marcaremos los patrones del merengue, el pequeño en el fieltro azul y el más grande en el fieltro fucsia y cortamos.
Then we will mark the meringue patterns, the small one on the blue felt and the larger one on the fuchsia felt and cut.
Después usaremos los hilos de bordar azul, verde, rosado y fucsia para bordar en el merengue azul pequeñas rallitas para simular la lluvia de caramelos.
Then we will use the blue, green, pink and fuchsia embroidery threads to embroider small stripes on the blue meringue to simulate the candy rain.
Posteriormente cosemos el merengue azul sobre el merengue fucsia con una costura en pespunte , siguiendo la forma de éste por el borde.
Then we sew the blue meringue over the fuchsia meringue with a backstitch seam, following the shape of the meringue along the edge.
Luego cosemos el merengue fucsia sobre el aro de la Dona de color marrón claro con costura en pespunte.
Then we sew the fuchsia meringue over the light brown Dona hoop with backstitching.
Cuando hayamos cosido los merengues, procedemos a unir los dos aros de la Dona, y cosemos el borde del agujero del centro, usando una costura en punto festón.
Once the meringues have been sewn, we proceed to join the two rings of the Dona, and sew the edge of the center hole, using a scallop stitch.
Cosemos el borde exterior de la dona con punto festón y dejamos una abertura para introducir por allí el relleno.

Introducimos el relleno por la abertura y cerramos con punto de festón.
Insert the filling through the opening and close with a scallop stitch.
