This week I have for you a nice Octopus, ideal to decorate the baby's room of the moms who are in the sweet wait. I made it in blue, but you can use the variety of colors you want.

This type of octopus was a fashion that started in Denmark as a solidarity action for premature babies, because the tentacles have some similarity with the umbilical cord. The idea was to give some comfort to the baby while it was inside the incubator. Of course there are defenders, as well as detractors regarding whether it is beneficial or not for the premature baby.

Personally, I find all amigurumi tender and adorable, but since they are small, woven pieces that are sewn or glued together, they must be treated with great care, especially if the doll is to be given to a child.

1.- Crochet knitting needle N° 2.

AHORA EN ESPAÑOL

Hola comunidad NeedleWorkMonday.

I am so glad to hear you are motivated and feel at home...because this is your needlework home. 😊🤗

Thank you for sharing another great tutorial with us. I’ve seen the initiative for making these. I think they are precious to make for premature babies. I do think the babies should be monitored carefully when these are placed by them.

You did really good on this one it is really adorable ~

Thanks so much. Really i feel like in my home here. I am thinking what i will do next week. Sorry for my english i am learning.

Omg, a blue octopus, I love that color. You make magic.

thanks so much @afrikablr.
