Čtvrtečník

in Česky!14 days ago

Původně jsem chtěl napsat klasický #ctvrtecnik, pár témat mám v hlavě. Ale trochu neplánovaně jsem dnes celý den na konferenci o AI. A protože je to neplánované, článek jsem si nenapsal předem. Klepu ho do mobilu. Dnes tedy pro vás nemám nic než tradiční čtvrteční statistiku.

Unveiling the BuzzParty Meetup 2024 Badge

Do you have any brochures or useful links from that conference for call centers?

Not really, I was to be impressed but played it cool :) asked for a bunch of PoC’s to see what an AI can do in Czech, which is not its native language. From what I saw, it’s far from being really useful in a large scale in my mother tongue though.

In Serbian, certainly even less.
In the company where I work, there is a call center project going on, so I have to get a little interested 🙂
It occurred to me to mention AI when I saw your post, to drive them crazy, but better not, the project needs to come to life soon 🙂

It’s a buzzword nowadays, just like blockchain was 5 years ago and then NFTs like three years back or so. It does not have to make any sense business-wise, yet it would likely bring some extra value to the business, if you get the point.

However, I seek for the business-wise benefits ;)

When we mentioned the Czech and Serbian languages, I thought about the beauty of those "small" languages.
You go somewhere abroad and say whatever you want in your native language, and almost no one understands you at all 😁
And you understand all, Englishmen, Americans... (I believe you also understand all Spaniards, Portuguese, Brazilians...) 🙂

I was to Italy liek three weeks ago, and could understand the Italians talking (plus there were many Spanish speaking people. Apparently, many Italians fled to Argentina and people from there commonly speak both languages; we met at least three in a small village of Aprica).

Portuguese is even more like Spanish.

So when we want to gossip people around in front of them, we do so in Czech :) Outside the Czech Republic, obviously.

To ti kažem 🙂 (to ti rikam)
