A Pen Portrait of Darth Maul

Today I'll share with you a pen portrait, my first ever pen portrait and it's the face of the Sith; "Darth Maul". I was always in love with this character as a kid, mainly because of his double edged light saber.

I had loads of doubts while making this sketch, most of which bordered around losing proportion and not being able to gain balance. So I started lightly.
The moment I gained the right proportion, I immediately began adding depth and in no time, my confidence was restored.
What proved most difficult was getting the right tones/shades of red. For the varied highlights in the reddish zones, I used about 4 different pens.
