I had some leftover foam sheets at home from previous crafts, and instead of wasting them by throwing them away, I decided to use them to make some flowers. So today, I’m bringing you this tutorial, hoping it will be useful for your own creations. Wishing you a day full of inspiration!

MATERIALES/ MATERIALS
Modelo de flor / Flower model 1
Dibujamos tres círculos en foami y los recortamos. Luego, doblamos cada uno por la mitad y los cortamos para obtener semicírculos.Colocamos un poco de pegamento en el centro, justo en la base del semicírculo y lo doblamos nuevamente a la mitad. Después, aplicamos pegamento en cada punta y la doblamos hacia abajo, así quedan definidos los pétalos. Finalmente, pegamos los pétalos uno tras otro, recortamos un pequeño círculo adicional y lo fijamos en el centro para completar la flor
We draw three circles on the foam and cut them out. Then, we fold each one in half and cut them to get semicircles. We place a little glue in the center, right at the base of the semicircle, and fold it in half again. Then, we apply glue on each tip and fold it downward, so the petals are defined. Finally, we glue the petals one after another, cut out an additional small circle, and attach it to the center to complete the flower

Comenzamos cortando dos listones: uno para los pétalos (5.5×20 cm) y otro para el centro (1.5×10 cm). Tomamos el listón de los pétalos y lo doblamos a lo largo por la mitad, aplicando pegamento solo en la base. Realizamos múltiples cortes a lo largo del borde doblado sin llegar a la base pegada. Luego, introducimos cuidadosamente la tijera por el centro del listón doblado y cortamos a lo largo de cada segmento, desde el centro hacia los extremos, para separar y dar forma a cada pétalo individual. Para el centro, hacemos cortes en el listón sin doblarlo. Enrollamos el listón del centro sobre sí mismo y lo fijamos con pegamento. Finalmente, enrollamos el listón de los pétalos alrededor del centro ya formado, haciendo presión suave hacia afuera para abrir y dar volumen a los pétalos
We start by cutting two strips: one for the petals (5.5×20 cm) and another for the center (1.5×10 cm). We take the petal strip and fold it lengthwise in half, applying glue only at the base. We make multiple cuts along the folded edge without reaching the glued base. Then, we carefully insert the scissors into the center of the folded strip and cut along each segment, from the center toward the ends, to separate and shape each individual petal. For the center, we make cuts in the strip without folding it. We roll the center strip onto itself and secure it with glue. Finally, we roll the petal strip around the already formed center, applying gentle outward pressure to open and give volume to the petals
