Love The Clouds Contest #108 - Good Friday Clouds

Hello cloud lovers. Welcome to another Round in this exciting contest hosted by @tobetada. Read all about it here and join in the fun.

Here is my entry and story.

Last April 2 was Good Friday. My wife, daughter, grandson and myself attended the church services for this day held here at the Church of the Holy Spirit Adoration Convent. It is a contemplative convent for nuns who are popularly called the "Pink Sisters" because they wear pink habits. Since kids are not allowed to enter the church premises I had to sit outside with my grandson. As the service was going on I looked up and saw this.

The timing could not have been more perfect because it was at the same time that the priest read the last of the 7 words of Jesus on the cross before he died - "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit." It was as if these clouds were depicting the heavens opening to accept the sacrifice and the spirit of the Son.

When I look towards the right side of the church I could see heavy and darkening clouds approaching as if to show heaven's wrath on what has just transpired.

And soon the whole area became covered with clouds and the rain began.

And that's all for this small cloud depiction of Good Friday. Hope you liked it. Wishing all the participants the best of luck in this round.

How are you, @gems.and.cookies.
Beautiful photo of that one cloud rising from the dome of the church.
I also like the 3rd to the last photo!

Hey, there you are! How goes life my friend? I hope you are doing fine. We are doing well over here in spite of the pandemic. Thank God.

Nice of you to drop by despite your busy schedule. Thanks for the nice comments and yes I like those 2 photos you mentioned.

Stay safe @silversaver888. Have a great week ahead.

Is that a Church? I think this is the second time I've seen it. Did you mention it once before when you took some photos of orchids? I may have been mistaken.

Have a nice day, @gems.and.cookies 😍😀

You have good memory. Yes this is a church and is the same place where I took the photos of the orchids. Same day too, on Good Friday. I'm impressed.
