Hello Blockchain Gaming, I hope you're all doing well today!

Actually today is my 49th day playing Risingstar, because of i grind starbits so much, then I forgot to update my 1 month post plaing risingstar. 😁 Although I am a bit off my schedule, right now I've got something to share to help you progress in the game, if you are a new risingstar player, I hope it can help you a lot.

My stats Update

Not much happening since my last post for my stats, I added one rare card to my collection. So far, I have 27 cards in my collection.

R150 Boki

Fans card is a little bit expensive right now, but this one I got for 6000 starbits, adding 125 fans, 75 skill, and bonus 3 luck 2 IM into my stats.

My stats right now :

stats.jpg

Fans: 605 (+344 drunk fans)
Luck: 194
Skill: 2048
IM: 9

Card Collection :

  • 4 Pizza Slices
  • 1 Coffee Cup
  • 1 Pizza Box
  • 12 People Cards
  • 7 Instrument Cards
  • 1 Transport Card
  • 1 Record NFT

With that achievement and all the card collection, I think it's worth my time playing Rising Star. Within 1 month of playing, I can grind more than 2000 starbits / day if I get lucky I will get around 4000 starbits / day. My spending (HIVE) for Risingstar is just for buying a card pack, pizza box, coffee cup, and 1 slice pizza as described on my first Risingstar post here, and reinvesting the starbits to buy another card / NFT.

Now I have all of the above cards NFT and 22,000 starbits on my account, and I can grind for more starbits. It's worth it, right?

Player Rank

In terms of player rank, I am still at rank 2019, I need to buy more cards to climb my ranking.

Player Achievement

I play 826 total missions, with 184 Illegal Busking, 147 Open Mic Night, 145 Mid Week Support, 80 Licensed Busking, 108 Midweek Headline Slot, 36 Saturday Support, 7 Saturday Headline, 13 Radio Interview, and 96 Guitar Lesson.

Don't know why I do less licensed busking, and more midweek headline slot 😂

Unlocking new zone - Local Gig Circuit

zone.jpg

I finally unlock the new zone, local gig circuit. From my experience, there is a disadvantage if you unlock the new zone so fast, and that is increased ego.

Here is what will happen when you unlock the new zone :

  • Ego gained from home town mission will increase, now start with 2 ego
  • Ego gained from Saturday Support is now 4 before unlock was 3, and Saturday Headline is now 9 before unlock was 6
  • If you don't have enough instrument cards to balance the skill and your ego will increase a lot.
  • Meaning, fewer starbits after unlocking the new zone.

beforeafterunlocking.jpg

Luckily for me, I unlock the zone when I reach level 40 above, and I have enough skill reward from my guitar lesson to balance the ego, but still, I feel getting fewer starbits than before. Last time it was easy to get 3000 starbits per day, and now is far less, around 2000 starbits per day.

That's because, right now I need to play 3 guitar lessons to balance the ego gained from a mission to keep it at 0%.

My rough calculation, comparing the ego gained from a mission with playing 24 total mission from home town, 2 mission each (illegal busking to Saturday headline)

Before unlocking: 49 ego
After unlocking: 76 ego

My Tips, have spare funds, and invest more HIVE! 😁

Of course this situation is not happening if you have some funds to invest in more cards, e.g buying more instrument cards, opening a card pack to get more stats, buying fans to earn more rewards in a new zone.

If you don't have spare funds to spend, unlocking a new zone below level 40 will make it difficult to you to grind more starbits. Especially if your stats is same like mine with fans below 1000 and only 7 instrument cards, 3 rare 4 common card.

level.jpg

I think mine is a little bit too soon at level 40, level 50 and above is good because you will have more starbits to buy instrument cards to balance the ego. It's easier to gain more starbits in home town and play all the mission + only playing 2 guitar lesson per day.

Other than that, there is no disadvantage if you want to unlock new zone early, if you have more instrument card and balancing fans and skill with 0% ego, then go for it. It's all about personal preferences, this is just my thoughts about unlocking a new zone on what I experienced so far. If you have other tips let me know in the comments 👍

Next Plan

My plan to reach 100k starbits is still on, now I have 20k starbits in my account, need 80k more until I am able to open 12 card packs 😁

Buy a cheap card if it's available is a must, also I am targeting to get 1000 fans this month.
