As I have discussed about this topic to not to open CL packs as it is not profitable for the most of the players when they are opening some small number of packs! But many dumb person like me love pack opening with the pure excitement of getting a GOLD FOILED LEGENDARY!!!
Believe me, please never try to make your deck stronger by buying or opening packs unless you are buying hundreds for getting the LEGENDARY SUMMONER AIRDROP. Only those SUMMONERS can make you profitable in the pack opening but the cards inside these packs will make you a more than 50% LOSS!
For your concern, I am giving my latest experience in opening CL packs here. I have bought 4 packs and the cost are as follows:
Cost of 4 purchased Packs = $16.00
20 legendary potions cost = $0.80
20 alchemy potions cost = $1.00
My total cost = $17.80
I have opened 4 CL packs altogether with the required number of potions which cost me a total value of 17.8 bucks. And see what I got inside my packs? I got only one EPIC and 1 death SUMMONER.
And rest of my cards are the shit cards in current market value.
You can see the money by the cards values per pack in the following figure.
I got only 0.54 bucks from 1 pack each from 2 CL packs which is devastating!
Also, I have got no GF cards and my $1 of alchemy potion is just wasted!
So, my suggestion is that never and ever open any packs unless you get them from your season end rewards or from the daily focus reward.
Often I think about this but I love Pack opening, so when I got some money I buy packs and keep opening my packs!
Though maximum time I am fucked up with the values in return with the packs but I have the experience with some amazing cards as the following 2 CL packs opening!
Last time I got 3 summoner from only two packs and got one GF summoner. which was amazing. I know it will inspire you to open more packs but I am ensuring you that most of you will loose more than you spend!
But if you can keep your cards for a long time, may be in next 3/4 years when there will be bull season of CRYPTO, you will gain more money and you can recover your loss that time. So, don't invest a lot in Packs for an instant profit!
