The world beyond the window

As you look the world outside
shifts...
...a tree, not there, but there
and yet
a different tree.
The world beyond the window
beckons
Like in a dream you float
outside
follow a leaf
as it plays
it falls
this way and fro towards the river
That wasn't there before
Gaze drawn upward
up road and hill:
a castle
tall and proud atop.
And there they stand
you know their form, their face
their figures grace the coins kept
safely in your purse
This is the Queen and King
died ill!
Betrayed by fallen knight and mage!
Good Queen Ibereth and King Angaur
felled forever by friends now cursed.
And yet...

Is that a dragon
black as coal
Falling through the sky?
