It will be a crime not to own SPS at the moment.

in Splinterlands24 days ago

At the moment, I will do anything to get my hands on those cheap SPS tokens on Hive Engine. Unfortunately, I do not like my current SPS position, and two years ago, I squandered funds that could have easily been used to invest in SPS and other splinterlands assets.

One of those terrible choices was Psyberx, and some of those Psyberx NFTs are worth 0.00$ in the market despite the fact that they cost about $100 to purchase: no use case, no resale value, no opportunity to earn with them, and no development from the game in over three years, despite raising hundreds of thousands of dollars from initial funding.

However, this is a post about SPS, and I am mostly expressing my regrets for passing up the opportunity to own more SPS.

11k Staked SPS

However, despite all of the gloom and doom, I have finally reached 11k staked SPS. I believe it was only about three weeks or so before I reached $10,000, and I know I am moving at a snail's pace, but I do not have that much money lying around to get a couple of thousand. However, on my way to 11k, I purchased a few items and earned others through ranked battles and Guild Play. Also, do not forget the APR from my previously staked SPS.

SPS remains inexpensive, despite occasional pumps. Some of my buys have occurred when the price has dropped; sometimes I do not care and proceed with the purchase anyway. I understand that I require a significant amount of SPS to increase my earnings from ranked battles; however, my earnings from ranked battles have decreased; I used to average about 0.8 SPS per win, but this has now dropped to about 0.75 SPS per win and approximately 200 Glints per win.

I would not advise anyone to miss out on SPS, so underestimate the market at your peril. Although many people may simply regret not picking them right now.

Selling Tokens That Earns You

I don't think anyone should be selling any token that gives them the opportunity to potentially earn any form of APR. Careful and intentional accumulation generates more passive income, increasing the depth of your liquidity. Believe me, you will need a lot of liquidity to make any significant amounts, which is why you should focus on tokens that earn you the most.

SPS is Undervalued

......It not just give you APR; the prospect is unimaginable, and my amiable colleague on the chain @dwanye16 was one of those visionary people who took the opportunity to buy SPS some time ago, and while it does not appear to be a profitable buy right now, it has improved his ability to earn more Glint, more SPS for ranked battles, and more APR on staking.

Fortune favors the bold, and SPS is currently an extremely promising in-chain token. If you have the opportunity to purchase a luxury item that you do not require, I recommend saving the money and investing it now. Don't be decieved by the uncertainty of the market, don't aim for small profits, because it means you'll need a lot of bull market to get anything tangible. Aim for massive profits, even if it means letting go of luxury items that only enhance you and add no value.

Don't Pay Attention To The Uncertainty

I am not sure what tomorrow holds, but I will keep extracting value from whatever sources I can to increase my SPS stake. Although it is currently impossible to predict exactly which token will perform best, having tokens like SPS and LEO, as well as BRO, is generally beneficial. So you could call this a pro-SPS post, but I mostly believe that owning it (SPS) allows you to accumulate more in the future, especially if you are staked and actively playing the game.

Congrats on reaching 11k SPS! I agree, people will regret not having enough SPS at some point. They already do. I wish I had more, and I have more.

I used to average about 0.8 SPS per win, but this has now dropped to about 0.75 SPS per win and approximately 200 Glints per win.

I haven't checked the fluctuations of my SPS winning lately, but generally, if you play in the same league and the average is consistent over time (so it's not dependent on the cards used or the win streak), then there are three reasons why the winnings would drop that I could think of:

  • if you dropped in rating
  • higher competition for the same reward pool
  • other players you compete against in your format stake SPS faster than you do

Many are probably not regretting because the price hasn't started going up X10 or maybe X5 it's current price, but eventually, they should.

Thanks for listing the probable seasons why my SPS earnings per battle has reduced, I don't think it's my rating, and probably the other two reasons. Even when I've played in champions 3 with a very good rating and some food streak, it varies. However I notice that if I beat a person with better deck or better SPS stake, I significantly earn close to 0.9 or 1 SPS in that battle.

See as my Oga mention my name o😄😄, thanks bro.

It is a big risk because I went in with full force but it was a risk I was willing to take. Sps is very cheap now and it might turn out to be life-changing money in the future.

Yeah, it's great you went in full force, very bold choice I believe it has it's advantages and it might not be too long before you begin to benefit. Fortune favors the bold Indeed

Stacking up that SPS!

Thanks, I see your SPS goals, they're very commendable and huge.

SPS tokens are a hidden gem right now, still been one of the biggest games in crypto, not that I play but I have read how it can boost your earnings through battles, plus the APR is just a cherry on top, not mentioning how much price has corrected, I wish I had time to play some of this games 🚀💰

Yeah, it boosts your earnings through battles and it's relatively cheap, although there's no assurance of anything, but the fact that it generally earns you some APR is good enough. Well playing does require investing some figures and it does come at some cost, but it can be futuristically rewarding.

indeed, the price is low and this is a great opportunity to get as much as we can. I have 6k 😅. will get more soon.

The price is great, I can't afford anymore cash at the moment, but it's really good for anyone hoping to earn more SPS reward.

Wow good buddy, this article really opened my eyes a lot. I never realized the potential of SPS. Thanks for breaking it down in a simple way. I'm definitely considering getting some now 😂😂🙈💯. Great job bruv stay Fresh and strong.

Yes, it's a splinterlands in-game assets with some good prospect

It's very very good man😍💯

SPS price is lowest so buying now is the best time for SPS. I am also buying to increase sps stake in the game. Hope you bag more sps this time

Congratulations on buying to improve your overall skin in the game

It will be a good idea to have SPS in my wallet right now. This seem like an advice to me though
Thanks!

It's a good investment choices, however it's not a financial advice.

I would have loved to jump on it, but I am just getting my bearing on Hive and would like to take it a step at a time.

It was an informative read.

It takes money to do some jumping, so.

Of course this is true now prices are low so this is a very good opportunity for all of us. Now we invest some money and if we wait for few months we will get a good profit because this project is very interesting.

Yes, it's true, SPS is for the taking

Typo* 10k SPS not $10,000 that was the mistake of the correcting app

Fingers crossed that SPS gets listed. At least its on the table now but I'm not sure why the whale aren't considering a tax on winnings to pay for the listing fees.

I do hope it make a nice surge in the future, I did sell off some nice chunks when it was at highs, but now I'm accumulating again. No point to sell since it's in a pretty low holding pattern right now. Hopefully the game makes a great comeback soon, in the mean time I'll keep on playing.

How have you been?
