Introduction of Dragons

Dragon desk is a very special card group. When we choose to use dragon desk Summoner, we can not only use dragon desk monsters, but also use one of element monsters from the other five elements. Moreover, most dragon desk monsters are very powerful, and those with high speed, high attack power or special skills can be found everywhere. Of course, the corresponding mana cost is also quite high. However, the monsters with low mana cost cannot be underestimated either, because they all have special skills, so dragon monsters are very useful.

The Battle rule

R1 (2).PNG

It was a high Mana cost battle that can be use 60 manas.
All type of monsters can be used except Water desk in this battle.

Stampede:
The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.

Reverse speed:
Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.

Team selection precautions

When selecting monsters, first of all, pay attention to the rules of "Reverse speed" in this battle, so monsters with a speed of only 1 have the most speed advantage. As for another combat rule, Stampede, as of now, I haven't seen the impact of the Stampede rule on combat, so it can be ignored for now.

This is a battle where you can use up to 60 manas, so you can choose from a lot of powerful cards in the dragon category. However, from the monsters the opponent has used in the past 5 battles, I see that he has the Earth Summoner SCARRED LLAMA MAGE. It is a powerful Summoner with three support skills, and he will also use KRON THE UNDYING and FLESH GOLEM with healing ability, such a monster combination is quite difficult to deal with. So we need to choose monsters with high attack power, and as far as possible are magic attack monsters to form a team.

My Team

Delwyn Dragonscale lv4.PNG

Summoners: Delwyn Dragonscale (Level 4)

A summoner that can increase the team's magic attack power by 1 point is of great help to me in this battle where magic attack monsters are the focus.

Grund.PNG

First position: Grund (Level 1)

Although I focus on magic attack monsters, Grund with strong attack power is necessary. Because of its "Double Strike" ability, it can provide 6 points of attack power output per round. Strong attack power is the key to breaking through enemy monsters with "Healing" ability.

Carnage Titan.PNG

Second position: Carnage Titan (Level 1)

Another monster with the "Double Strike" ability, and the Carnage Titan has a Reach ability that can attack in the second position, so it can provide 4 attack damage per turn.

Goblin Psychic.PNG

Third position: Goblin Psychic (Level 3)

I placed Goblin Psychic, with its "Tank Heal" ability at position three. I need it to help the Grund in the front restore health. Make the team's maximum attack power sustainable, ideally for Grund to get to the 4th or 5th round

Wood Nymph lv1.PNG

Fourth position: Wood Nymph (Level 1)

Another Wood Nymph with the "Tank Heal" ability, chosen for the same purpose as the Goblin Psychic ahead.

Spirit Hoarder lv2.PNG

Fifth position: Spirit Hoarder (Level 2)

Spirit Hoarder is a creature that heals the monsters at second to sixth position in the team, since I will be using Mycelic Slipspawn at the end of the team, I need Spirit Hoarder to restore Mycelic Slipspawn's health. Hoping to keep Mycelic Slipspawn through the third round.

Mycelic Slipspawn.PNG

Last position: Mycelic Slipspawn (Level 1)

Mycelic Slipspawn's "Taunt" ability will allow the enemy's second to sixth monsters to focus their attacks on it, which will effectively protect the rest of the party's monsters. I have the Spirit Hoarder with it, hoping to keep the team's maximum attack power through the third round.

Notes:

Strong attack power and focus on attacking is the key to breaking through enemy monsters with healing ability. After my lineup cooperates with the Summoner, it can deal up to 20 points of damage to the enemy each round. Another point is how long Mycelic Slipspawn and Grund can last, the longer they lasts the better my chances of winning.

Game Play

As I expected, the opponent was using the earth monster, and the summoner SCARRED LLAMA MAGE and FLESH GOLEM were placed in the first position, and Wood Nymph was used to support it. At the same time, putting KRON THE UNDYING in the last place, the purpose is to enable KRON THE UNDYING to get the Summoner's "Last Stand" ability, so that KRON THE UNDYING's combat power will be greatly improved. At the same time, the opponent also expected that I would use magic attack monsters, so they made targeted deployments. Their second monster can "Magic Reflect", and the fourth monster can reduce magic damage. Who wins and who loses? Now let's take a look at the video of the battle.

Round 1 and 2

After all summoners/monster abilities added. Our maximum attack power has been reduced from 20 initially expected to 16, but this is still higher than the opponent's. Therefore, we successfully eliminated the enemy's FLESH GOLEM, but my Mycelic Slipspawn was eliminated in the second round and could not persist until the third round. We started to attack the enemy's PRISMATIC ENERGY in the second round, but its "Magic Reflex" ability caused damage to my magical monsters. Fortunately, Spirit Hoarder's ability worked and healed the injured monsters behind. At the same time, our attack left the enemy's PRISMATIC ENERGY with only 1 HP and entered the third round.

R4.PNG

Round 3 and 4

At the beginning of the third round, it is convenient for me to immediately destroy the enemy's PRISMATIC ENERGY, and at the same time, restore the Grund in front, so that it can hold on for a while longer. Although it still can't make it through this turn in the end, it can still destroy the opponent's Wood Nymph before it is destroyed. We killed MUSHROOM SEER in the fourth round, which restored the attack power of our magic monsters to normal. After the enemy lost his MITICA HEADHUNTER, his KRON THE UNDYING acquired the "Last Stand" ability at this time, its attack power and health value suddenly increased to 5 and 18, the speed increased to 3, and it can recover its own stamina.

R5.PNG

R6.PNG

Round 5 and 6

Although the enemy's KRON THE UNDYING has become stronger, unfortunately its attack power is still unable to destroy my Carnage Titan. My treatment team treats the Carnage Titan constantly. And our attack will effectively reduce the enemy's health. In the end I won.

Conclusion:

The slow Earth healing team played the most crucial role in this battle with the rules of " Reverse speed ". They can be the first to launch attack and healing skills, greatly supporting the Grund and Carnage Titan ahead. Without them, it would be hard for me to win.

So this battle, if the enemy team with the "Opportunity" or "Snipe" ability monsters attacked my healing team after I lost Mycelic Slipspawn, the outcome of this battle might be reversed.

Hunter Jarx lv1 (2).PNGSpirit of the Forest lv1 (2).PNG

Hunter Jarx and Spirit of the Forest are powerful "Snipe" ability monsters in the Earth desk, but unfortunately, there are no monsters with strong enough "Opportunity" ability among the earth desk monsters.
