As a bronze player, it really hurts not being able to get as much DEC as I used to, so as a sort of a compensation, I'd really appreciate to UP the credits rewards and not giving me 1 credit for opening a box :)
Hopefully if I win the giveaway, it'll be a huge boost to my collection power and an easy way to get out of bronze.
Ya it hurts you a little now for sure but once you are in silver I think you will see it better to not let bots buy only a spellbook a farm rewards at a high rate

I'm so curious to how the new changes will pan out... but I have to think they'll be better for the newer players overall. It might not seem like it at first... but when all the ladder positions are taken up with bots who play hundreds of games a season, are suddenly filled with actual people, it'll be really exciting to those new players.
Yeah I was still seeing some DEC in bronze on alt accounts so not sure about the credits bit unless its based on league and CP or some such. With regards to the invest now before they go out of print, shhhh. Cheers.
Hey Stephen.. So far, the ranked battles give DEC in bronze still.. I think that is a good thing.. I opened the daily quest and got 8 credits, so they did implement the changes. Idk if the DEC per ranked battle win is going to be changed to credits or not so far.
I've been playing splinterlands for +40 days now, I believe this update was the right call, they have to do something to slow down the bots..
I think the max rating per league is a good idea too, if you are in bronze 3, +1000 rating wont make a difference in the dec rewards..
I've been doing some math and to get to silver 3 people need to invest like $300.. @draicor
Congratulations for that Harklaw and the bunch of golds you got! I watched the video and I think those changes will be good, specially for those pesky robots making our lives miserable back down here in Bronze. Thank you for the chance to take part on the giveaway!
Good summary of the recent changes! I agree, it hurts the bot farmers more than anything. It might make things a little slower for purely free to play players, but it encourages more investment in the game which really is worth it in the long run anyway.
It will be difficult for bronze league players, but I hope in general the game is going in good direction.
The update will motivate the players to progress in upper leagues and earn more.

I just started the game a month ago and decided to created a second account. I was a bit unhappy by this change, as I was afraid that the leveling up of the second account will be to expensive, as I'm afraid if I will get enough DEC to be able to move to Silver 3. Till now it seems that I'm able to do it with the DEC from the ranked matches. So that was sorted out. I do believe it is fair, that higher ranked ppl get more DEC, I just hope the rents won't be to high at the end of the season! :) @arkasz

The change does also only impact quest rewards. All of those accounts in Novice and Bronze still earn DEC from playing ranked as far as I know. So, not quite as big of a nerf, but it will cut down on the reward cards running out way earlier than they intended.
Bronze league players have taken a huge hit with this update. My reward chests are worthless now, odds of getting a card are very low and they give too few credits (less than 1 DEC per chest). But you did make me think of other perspectives, like preventing people from farming noobs in lower leagues.
nice content and very lucky with the harklaw. the update so far is very good especially if you rent some card to push to silver up. all in all good update for longevity of the game.

Hi Steve. I'm new to Hive and I was wondering...what's the easiest way to move crypto to the Hive network? Is there any way to bridge funds from the Binance Smart Chain or from the Ethereum Network?
from BSC is better. You just need to add that to your wallet in the game. and you can move dec in and out of the game then from the game you can send the dec to hive engine and sell it for Hive or you can buy Hive on Binance or Bittrex
level 1 dragon jumper, level 1 gold dragon, level 6 gloridax soldier, level 7 delwyn dragon scale work well with the water team, it has a level 4 Djin chvala now and a level 3 manticore and level 3 fire spitter, on and a level 1 lighting dragon
Watching you open the loot chest encourage me to spend more to get into the silver and higher. Just waiting for the Chaos Legion to come out and great breakdown of the game economics.

Congratulations on your EoS rewards. Hopefully you figure out the guild thing too, that was brutal to watch.
They seems to motivate you to try to go up, but it is harder and harder with people playing metas with just one invincible team.
