Pienso que los ricos son más pobres que los pobres, porque nunca están contentos de lo que tienen. Quieren siempre más. No digo que todos sean así, pues nadie esta hecho de la misma manera... Es dificil combatir la pobreza. Sin embargo, es mas dificil saciar el hambre de amor que el hambre de pan.
I think the rich are poorer than the poor, because they are never happy with what they have. They always want more. I'm not saying that everyone is like that, because no one is made the same way... It's difficult to fight poverty. However, it is more difficult to satisfy the hunger for love than the hunger for bread.
El mayor mal de hoy no es la lepra, la tuberculosis o el coronavirus, sino sentirse indeseable, menospreciado y abandonado de todos. Yo he encontrado entre la gente, rica y pobre, (sobretodo entre los ricos) un hambre tremenda. Me tropiezo por doquier con un hambre tremenda, con una soledad terrible, con una sensación espantosa de no ser amados.
