RE: Shooting Day!

It's great to see you having a shoot. What did you think of the process of zeroing the scope? Was it demounted, a fresh set up, or was it just a check-zero?

Also, I can see some issues with your prone position - Mainy...Your legs should be wider apart and the inner of your feet turned outwards, instep flat to the ground, not rested up on your toes. Of course, this will make little difference at 50m and with a .22LR but with a larger calibre it will make a big difference. Being well-grounded handles recoil better. I'm just being picky though Eve. 😁

Great that you're shooting, I figured you might considering you were up north. I hope you had a great weekend - Have a good week, I'm sure I'll catch you around.

Sort:

The scope was previously mounted on another gun, I think. I let the pro handle the zeroing and unpatiently waited. I actually told him to leave it as is when it was close enough and adjusted my shots accordingly 😅

Yes yes I know, I need to learn the proper position early on so I don’t have to unlearn bad habits later. We’ll take more ammo next time, and more time to shoot :)

Lol.

As a long range shooter this comment drives me bonkers.

Legit.

It's good to see you getting into it though, and clearly enjoying it. Nice work.

I have a tendency to drive men bonkers so nothing new here 😝🤣

Driving people bonkers is your superpower maybe.
