Inspired by @acidyo's general post asking about favorite YT channels, let's talk about our favorite Pew channels and maybe find a new one. I'm probably a basic bitch when it comes to mine, but we'll see!
My favorite is definitely Forgotten Weapons.
Ian goes through auction houses and armories to track down some of the rarest, oddest, quirkiest, and coolest guns ever made. He also does videos of more mainstream weapons which are still great to watch. A lot of his videos are showing the guns and partially disassembling them while he explains their history and interesting distinctions and facts. In some of his videos he's out on the range with them.
hickok45 probably needs no introduction.
He's comes across as a humble and down to earth guy who just really loves to exercise his Second Amendment rights. He shoots a wide variety of guns and provides a lot of feedback on how he likes them and how they shoot. They tend to run a bit long for casual, regular viewing however.
It'd be great to get some YT gun channels onto Hive by the way, considering how unfairly YT treats them. For instance you can't even put gun-selling related links in the video description.

I'll have to check out some of these guys. I think I've already seen some of TaranTactical's stuff (Keanu videos linked from reddit probably).
Edit: watching some of TibasaurusRex's informative videos and I really appreciate their brevity. Lots of YouTubers pad their videos or just don't bother to keep them down to a watchable timeframe.
Yep, Keanu Reeves did all his training with Taran. KR is actually a pretty accomplished practical-shooter.
Thanks for your comments about The Pew. I started off by just wanting a place to drop my own gun posts and then figured others may join in. It's slow, but gaining some small degree of traction. I try to encourage people to drop stuff in there, but if they don't want to there's not much I can do. So I just keep throwing bits and pieces in there myself (writing one now as it turns out) and supporting those who also use it.
I liked your post as it opened up some engagement which is sometimes rare here when guns are concerned. Thanks for posting here and please do so again.

I wasn't sure how many would get the dual meaning, but pleasingly many have. Is shooting my religion? No of course not...Sort of...Maybe...Kind of is. Lol.

I just watched Joerg's review of that limbless crossbow, I can see why you highly recommend him. I suppose I should check out his contraption videos, ingenuity looks like an understatement.

Hahaha. That's for asking this question. On YouTube my favorite are homestead channels, likewise the Animal care zone. Where they do more of animal mating, grooming rules, animal control, K-9 world training clips and more.

Well I am not a fan of YouTube
It's not for everybody. When it came out I thought it was the stupidest thing to watch videos in your browser and not download them for posterity. I was also pretty sure it wouldn't last a year but then big daddy Google came in and deus ex machina'd them.
