It's about that time 🔫
Summer may be coming to an abrupt end, but fall is THE gaming season. There are so many massive releases during these last few months of 2022. None are much more anticipated than the next iteration of Call of Duty. Many have grown tired of this fps powerhouse, but there is no denying that COD still has one of the largest fanbases in the gaming industry.
Modern Warfare II drops on October 28, 2022, more than 10 years since 2009's Modern Warfare 2, which is a totally different title. Ever since 2019's Modern Warefare reboot, we are dealing with an entirely different MW, as confusing as it may be to some.
This year's game is being developed by Infinity Ward, which happens to be the company out of all the different COD dev teams that seem always to produce my favorite CODs.
Campaign gameplay has already been revealed, but what everyone really cares about is the multiplayer aspect of the game. We are finally getting details about that this Thursday at the Call of Duty Next event.
The day after the showcase, the Multiplayer Beta begins and will go on for two full weekends. Details of the schedule can be found in the thumbnail image of this post.

I will be discussing in more detail what you can expect from COD MWII. This game is about to be really good, I just have a feeling. We will know for sure this weekend once the beta starts and the COD Next event will also reveal a lot.

Damn that changed quickly, 54 degrees lol. It's been a bit nice here still but I'm also looking forward to the cooler weather. We get to do a lot more hiking in the cooler weather so that's a huge plus!
CoD 1 was the shit! I was in a guild as my first foray into playing with a bunch of people. United Base Players, uBp. Damn that was some fun memories lol. The leader was a dude named Squeeg, I wonder if he's even alive still. Good trip down memory lane on that one! I played CoD1 for many years and we even got a little competitive. We weren't good enough for CAL but we played the league down from that and made like top 10 or something. It was a lot of fun!
World at War was definitely a great one too, I played that a lot and still have all of those good ones on my PS. It's going to be fun cracking that thing out when my son is older and get to play it with him, reliving the old man's younger years! Lol.
You're turning 30 next month, I'm just a few years older than that! Mine is also coming up soon but once you hit 30, you tend to not celebrate them as much hahaha. Someone asked me how old I was recently and I had to think about it. Before 30 and at 30 it's kind of significant. Afterwards it's lame lol
It was even colder today, 50 when I woke up. Ugh, tank top weather is about over. It's nice in some ways, but I'd be okay with being able to go to the pool year-round.
That's so dope! I was yet to become a teenager when I joined my first clan. I remember being so nervous about tryouts and taking them very seriously. Too bad I don't have a squad these days, lone wolf is the way for now.
The fact that WaW had tanks in it still amazes me. I used to dominate so hard getting inside of those.
I don't really plan on celebrating too huge for 30. It's not a massive deal to me, but I guess a milestone to some. I have slipped up and told someone the wrong age before by accident. I just don't think about the silly number that much.

I'm really excited about this game too, man. I don't think I can play it myself because my computer is not good enough. But I'm sure you'll make a post about the gameplay. I'm looking forward to it.
I can't imagine not being able to play a certain game due to hardware restrictions. I've been lucky to always have a console that allows me to play pretty much anything. I will certainly be posting gameplay videos from the beta starting next week.
I wish I had a great console, like a PS5, but for now I'll just watch you 😅.
COD is the best saga of shooters ever, I have been playing offline since the first COD was release, I remember it how the first WWII based game that includes a Soviet campaign. Of course, that saga don't have any in common with modern COD releases... but its evolution is amazing. Enjoy the game bro!
Although I think yearly releases are overkill, I won't ever complain when I have a new COD to play. I remember the original COD and also the Medal of Honor games. Those were both so fun back in the day.
Have been keeping my eyes on the open beta on the MW2 multiplayer to arrive. My friends and I are eager to leave the current Warzone. It has turned into a shot show. Moreover, with every update they keep on removing the only mode that seems playable: Rebirth.
I'm so ready to experience some gameplay and see how the feel of the game is. I have high hopes for MWII, don't let me down, Infinity Ward.
I imagine you are looking forward to trying that Call of Duty game and the best thing is that several can enjoy the same emotion in real time
