It has been a few months since the last time I shared some of my explorations in the apocalyptic world of Fallout 4. For those of you that don't know anything about this game, it a role-playing game where a nuclear holocaust has destroyed modern civilization. The game is set centuries in the future, and what remains of humanity is just small groups of people scattered around, some of them are bandits and criminals.
Thanks to the nuclear holocaust, there are all sorts of dangerous mutants that can be found pretty much in every place, and there is also modern technology involving advanced robots. My companion is a robot I have modified and I will show it in the pictures below.
Since I started to play Fallout 4 I installed several mods that add new missions, characters, customizations, among other things. So differentiating between what's part of the normal game, and what's part of community-made mods isn't easy for me. Without further ado, this is what I did in my last Fallout 4 gameplay:
Han pasado unos meses desde la última vez que compartí algunas de mis exploraciones en el mundo apocalíptico de Fallout 4. Para aquellos de ustedes que no saben nada sobre este juego, es un juego de rol donde un holocausto nuclear ha destruido la civilización moderna. El juego está ambientado siglos en el futuro, y lo que queda de la humanidad son solo pequeños grupos de personas dispersas, algunos de ellos son bandidos y criminales.
Gracias al holocausto nuclear, hay todo tipo de mutantes peligrosos que se pueden encontrar prácticamente en todos los lugares, y también hay tecnología moderna que involucra robots avanzados. Mi compañero es un robot que he modificado y lo mostraré en las imágenes de abajo.
Desde que comencé a jugar Fallout 4 instalé varios mods que agregan nuevas misiones, personajes, personalizaciones, entre otras cosas. Entonces, diferenciar entre lo que es parte del juego normal y lo que es parte de las modificaciones hechas por la comunidad no es fácil para mí. Sin más preámbulos, esto es lo que hice en mi último juego de Fallout 4:

It is almost impossible to explore Fallout 4's wasteland and destroyed cities, without encountering hostile groups that shot you at first sight. In the beginning, exploring the wasteland was super dangerous, but now I have good armor pieces, good weapons, and a powerful robot companion, so encountering bandits and enemies isn't something scary anymore. In the picture above you can see the corpse of a recently killed bandit.
Es casi imposible explorar las ciudades destruidas de Fallout 4 sin encontrar grupos hostiles que te dispararon a primera vista. Al principio, explorar era muy peligroso, pero ahora tengo buenas piezas de armadura, buenas armas y un poderoso compañero robot, por lo que encontrar bandidos y enemigos ya no es algo aterrador. En la imagen de arriba se puede ver el cadáver de un bandido asesinado recientemente.

The mission I was doing tasked me with going to a church and collecting several items from some type of religious fanatics that live there. If you noticed an encapsulated brain in the lower part of the picture above that's the head of my robot. It uses a real human brain as a CPU.
La misión que estaba haciendo me asignó la tarea de ir a una iglesia y recolectar varios artículos de algún tipo de fanáticos religiosos que viven allí. Si notaste un cerebro encapsulado en la parte inferior de la imagen de arriba, esa es la cabeza de mi robot. Utiliza un cerebro humano real como CPU.

The fight was very bloody and I used a special knife called Pickman's Blade that is extremely powerful and usually cuts the enemy's head in just one attack. You can see 1 decapitated body and all the blood spilled by my enemies. The knife looks like it is no big deal but it is incredibly fast and effective.
La pelea fue muy sangrienta y usé un cuchillo especial llamado Pickman Blade que es extremadamente poderoso y generalmente corta la cabeza del enemigo en un solo ataque. Puedes ver 1 cuerpo decapitado y toda la sangre derramada por mis enemigos. Parece que el cuchillo no es gran cosa, pero es increíblemente rápido y efectivo.

The church was a bit creepy, there were some skeletons sitting there as if they were attending a church mass. There is even a small robot in the first row and in the back, looking like a small tank is my robot companion. It has a smaller body when I found him but as my skills in the game got better, I was able to improve it, and now it is completely different and much more powerful.
La iglesia era un poco espeluznante, había algunos esqueletos sentados allí como si estuvieran asistiendo a una misa en la iglesia. Incluso hay un pequeño robot en la primera fila y en la parte de atrás lo que parece un pequeño tanque es mi compañero robot. While exploring the wasteland, there aren't only human enemies but also mutant insects and mutant animals. The mutants are always bigger, stronger, and much more dangerous than the normal version of any being. In the picture above you can see some hostile flying insects that have almost the same size as a human leg. These insects are annoying because hitting them with bullets is difficult, I usually use the knife to defend myself against them, and the robot is always near me with perfect accuracy in its shots.
Mientras se explora, no solo hay enemigos humanos, sino también insectos mutantes y animales mutantes. Los mutantes son siempre más grandes, más fuertes y mucho más peligrosos que la versión normal de cualquier ser. En la imagen de arriba puedes ver algunos insectos voladores hostiles que tienen casi el mismo tamaño que una pierna humana. Estos insectos son molestos porque golpearlos con balas es difícil, suelo usar el cuchillo para defenderme de ellos, y el robot siempre está cerca de mí con perfecta precisión en sus disparos.

Sometimes I also find good people while exploring. This is a regular guard doing his duty and making sure these streets are safe. There are small cities and towns in this world, and they are the only safe spaces in the entire wasteland. When one leaves a city and goes exploring it is just a matter of minutes to find some type of hostile enemy.
A veces también encuentro buena gente mientras exploro. Este es un guardia regular que cumple con su deber y se asegura de que estas calles sean seguras. Hay pequeñas ciudades y pueblos en este mundo, y son los únicos espacios seguros que hay. Cuando uno sale de una ciudad y va a explorar, es solo cuestión de minutos encontrar algún tipo de enemigo hostil.

One of the most dangerous types of mutants is called "super mutants", these are mutated humans that are now super big and strong, and they consider themselves superior to normal humans, which is why they wish to annihilate all humans. They are almost never alone, always in groups, and finding with them was suicidal at the beginning of my journey. Now, it is still a bit hard but easily survivable.
Uno de los tipos de mutantes más peligrosos se llama "supermutantes", estos son humanos mutados que ahora son súper grandes y fuertes, y se consideran superiores a los humanos normales, por lo que desean aniquilar a todos los humanos. It is easy to recognize when one building is under the control of super mutants, because they always have bloody "decorations" hanging all over the place and sometimes there are also spikes.

In the picture above you can see a typical sighting when visiting an area with a lot of super mutants. Bloody huge meat pieces, and a bloody human skeleton of a poor victim that was eaten by super mutants.

Even though this is a very dangerous apocalyptic wasteland, some parts of it look completely normal. The bar in the picture above even has a neon light turned on and the building looks in good condition.

I decided to kill the people inside the bar because I didn't trust them. The woman remaining alive is the one that gave me this mission which is why I didn't kill her. Notice the state of the bar, unlike its exterior, the interior does look like a bar in an apocalyptic wasteland.
Decidí matar a la gente dentro del bar porque no confiaba en ellos. La mujer que queda con vida es la que me dio esta misión, por eso no la maté. Si observas el estado del bar, a diferencia de su exterior, el interior parece un bar en un lugar apocalíptico.

I took the screenshot above only because it shows the equivalent of Coca-Cola in Fallout 4's world. It is called Nuka Cola and a version of it called Nuka-Cola Quantum is super valuable because it regenerates a lot of health when consuming it. I have some of them in my inventory for when things get difficult.

This is an example of mutated animals becoming super aggressive towards humans. These animals, much like insects, don't pose much of a threat now and can be easily killed without wasting bullets.
Este es un ejemplo de animales mutados que se vuelven súper agresivos con los humanos. Estos animales, al igual que los insectos, no representan una gran amenaza ahora que tengo mi personaje avanzado y se pueden matar fácilmente sin desperdiciar balas.

When I arrived at this place called Hardware Town I really didn't expect to find what I found. I was expecting maybe some bandits or some type of lesser enemy but what I encountered was a bit puzzling although it is far from being the craziest thing I have encountered in this game.

When I got inside everything looked as expected. This was a hardware store so finding old shelves is normal. There is nothing out of the ordinary for now.

Again, nothing out of the ordinary right? Just a regular hardware store with some added elements like the bullet box on the left and the health box on the right.

When I saw this I realized this place was being used by a person as a refuge. We can see a place to sleep, alcohol bottles, and a bullet box.

But what I didn't expect to find was that. Dead naked bodies of a bunch of humans all scattered around like animals. Who knows what killed them. Or maybe they were a suicide cult and killed themselves? They certainly didn't look like warriors that's for sure.
Pero lo que no esperaba encontrar fue eso. Los cadáveres desnudos de un grupo de humanos esparcidos como animales. Quién sabe qué los mató. ¿O tal vez eran un culto suicida y se suicidaron? Ciertamente no parecían guerreros, eso es seguro.

I took a look in this underground area but didn't find anything important. It was a strange place nonetheless.

Once my visit to the Hardware Town was finished, I quickly returned to the wasteland to continue my exploration. I didn't find too many enemies this time, which can be a relief, but without fighting the character cannot gain xp points and the skills cannot be improved. So I always prefer to find enemies.
Una vez que terminó mi visita a Hardware Town, regresé rápidamente al exterior para continuar mi exploración. No encontré demasiados enemigos esta vez, lo que puede ser un alivio, pero sin luchar el personaje no puede ganar puntos de XP y las habilidades no se pueden mejorar. Por eso siempre prefiero encontrar enemigos.

Something new happened to me while I was walking because this ship fell from the sky and it almost hit me! I have never seen this type of action so close to me and I wonder if my character would have died if the ship had impacted him?
¡Algo nuevo me pasó mientras caminaba porque esta nave cayó del cielo y casi me golpea! Nunca había visto este tipo de acción tan cerca de mí y me pregunto si mi personaje habría muerto si la nave lo hubiera impactado.

You can see a small figure a bit far in the screenshot above, that's an allied soldier patrolling the area. I usually find that type of soldier fighting against important enemies such as super mutants or deathclaws.
Se puede ver una pequeña figura un poco lejos en la captura de pantalla de arriba, es un soldado aliado que patrulla el área. Normalmente encuentro a ese tipo de soldado luchando contra enemigos importantes como supermutantes o deathclaws.

After walking a bit more, I finally reached my destination. It appears as a scary cave with maybe some type of mutant bear inside but it is actually the entrance of a vault. Specifically, vault 81.
Después de caminar un poco más, finalmente llegué a mi destino. Parece una cueva aterradora con quizás algún tipo de oso mutante dentro, pero en realidad es la entrada de una bóveda. Específicamente, la bóveda 81.

In Fallout 4, there are a lot of vaults all over the map that were used to protect humans from the consequences of the nuclear holocaust. Some of the vaults are inoperative while others have people who almost never go outside to the wasteland. These vaults are 100% secure places, and they also have very advanced tech. These are certainly the best places to live in this apocalyptic world.
En Fallout 4, hay muchas bóvedas en todo el mapa que se utilizan para proteger a los humanos de las consecuencias del holocausto nuclear. Algunas de las bóvedas no funcionan, mientras que otras tienen personas que casi nunca salen al exterior. Estas bóvedas son lugares 100% seguros, y además cuentan con tecnología muy avanzada. Estos son sin duda los mejores lugares para vivir en este mundo apocalíptico.

As you can see, life inside these vaults is very peaceful. Everyone tends to their jobs and there are proper order and organization. It is noticeable these are human groups completely separated from the disaster of the wasteland. In this vault there was even a bunch of kids with their school classes and everything.
Como se puede ver, la vida dentro de estas bóvedas es muy tranquila. Todos atienden sus trabajos y hay un orden y una organización adecuados. Se nota que se trata de grupos humanos completamente separados del desastre del exterior. En esta bóveda había incluso un grupo de niños con sus clases escolares y todo.

While I was exploring this vault, I noticed a glitch in the game and I am not sure if this glitch is caused by some mod I installed, or if this is just a harmless glitch in the normal game. The fact is, that white light shouldn't be there.
Mientras exploraba esta bóveda, noté una falla en el juego y no estoy seguro si esta falla es causada por algún mod que instalé, o si esto es solo una falla inofensiva en el juego normal. El hecho es que esa luz blanca no debería estar allí.

I took this final screenshot to properly show the glitch. I have encountered a similar glitch before, but if I remember correctly, it happened while I was doing a mission from a mod. So maybe, this time it is happening again.

After encountering this new glitch I decided to take a rest with my Fallout 4 gameplay and will continue with more in a manner of days.
