Magical Shaggi loved his weed like other people love their water - all day, every day. Apart from weed, Shaggi also loves coding and dancing salsa. Not the boring, spin, spin kind of salsa. Shaggi loves adding his own touch to everything he does. He’s just too cool for school. He’ll watch YouTube tutorial of some fancy hip-hop steps, learn them, then converts them to the salsa timing and makes everyone’s draws drop next time he uses these steps at the salsa party.
Problem is, Magical Shaggi is extremely picky about the quality of the music he wants to dance to. It has to be magical, just like he is. Local parties are mostly not cutting it for him, so all the funky, out of the box moves are lost, never discovered by anyone else, but his mirror.
One spring Zack, Shaggi’s friend got dumped by his girlfriend. How did this benefit Shaggi? Well, Zack already booked a hotel and a ticket to a salsa party abroad and really wanted to go there, despite his ex not going anymore. He contacted Shaggi, who decided to venture out of his tiny place in a tiny country and visit London for a big, international Salsa Congress with his recently dumped friend.
Little did Magical Shaggi know, that he was about to meet the love of his life on the dance-floor of Heathrow’s airport hotel. He doesn’t even like asking girls for a dance. He likes to show off his funky moves and let them come to him. And come they do.
Not this time though. He saw her perfect bum spinning some cool moves in her purple leggings. was half a head shorter than him, yet otherwise just like him – magical and out of the box. A female version of him, one could say. Perfectly in salsa timing, yet these were no salsa moves or memorised shines.
He could pose all he wanted, but to no avail. She was too busy dancing, being in the spotlight of the camera and enjoying herself, to look around and check who to ask for a dance next. She clearly knew lots of people, as they were snapping her one after the other, without give her a chance to walk off the dance floor.
‘Damn it!’ he thought to himself. ‘It’s time for me to queue up for this one!’
Luckily, he didn’t have to wait too long. Next song he jumped right in and asked her for a dance.
‘Man, that’s what it means to really dance’ he thought after just a minute of them dancing. Up close it felt even better than it looks. She was playful, she listed and interpreted music in her own, special way and her balance was solid. He could dance with her all night, but that sure would be selfish. He was over the moon hearing she wanted to dance next cha-cha with him too. He wanted more, MUCH more!
‘Do you wanna go for a smoke?’ he asked after the second song ended.
‘Yes!’ she answered without a second of hesitation.
Off they went, outside the hotel, to find a nice smoking place for themselves. He started his joint and passed it on to her. Only then she realised what kind of smoke he meant.
‘I actually quit smoking 2 weeks ago’ she said, while taking a puff.
‘It’s not really a cigarette, but it has tobacco in it too. Give it back’ he said.
‘No, I enjoy it’ she said with a naughty smile.
They finished the joint and went separate ways, never to see each other again that night.
Saturday night came and Magical Shaggi came to the party with Zack. He wanted to show him Magical Maggi and of course, she was hard to miss. She swapped her purple leggings from the night before to even brighter, pink ones. He could tell that she spotted him too, as soon as he entered the room full of 100’s of people. Just a short eye contact and again they were separated by the crowd.
He was on his 3rd change of shirts by the time they finally got to dance. Again – it felt like he’s dancing with a female version of himself. By then he was sure – he really wanted to hang out with her more and make sure she becomes his friend. They could meet at future congresses and ‘do this shit’ together, he dreamt.
The Universe thought otherwise. They went to smoke again. Then again. It was so easy to be around her. The party was over and the breakfast hasn’t started yet, but they were still walking around the hotel. At some point morning cold has hit them hard and Shaggi proposed a hug to make them warm. This is when he realised he could never be just friends with Maggi. Love at first hug it could be called, except he was most likely already in love since the moment he saw her.
From this point, till the end of the weekend they became inseparable. They went to breakfast together, where he rubbed the table’s leg thinking it was hers. Then of course he announced it to everyone at the table for a good laugh. After breakfast he followed her to the floor where her room was and they just sat by the lifts, talking. They saw many people getting up and heading towards restaurant for breakfast or to the first morning classes, while they never had a moment of sleep that night. High on emotions they were.
They cracked the jokes and had a great time together. It was past 9am when he said:
‘You have to tell me to leave, or else I won’t ever leave’.
‘But I don’t want you to leave’ - she answered.
So they stayed until her roommate headed off for breakfast and they could take over the room for a few hours of sleep. And sleep it was, cause as soon as they were hugging in bed, she was asleep in a minute, snoring loudly, while he couldn’t sleep at all, shocked by this behaviour 😂
He was to find out later that sleep was her favourite thing to do apart from dancing. She woke up after a few alarms went off and headed straight to work for the organisers of the congress. She advised him to have a good sleep while she was working, but emotions were running way too high for him to sleep.
He went for a smoke with mates and spent the rest of his sleep time... messaging her. He couldn’t help himself –she totally took over his mind and heart and he couldn’t stop thinking about her. By the evening he was sleepy and grumpy, while all she wanted to do is... DANCE.
‘Well, go do your thing, while I smoke with mates’ – he said.
So she did. Clearly she could also do it all night, while all he was thinking about is his flight back home in a few hours. He had to almost drag her out of the dance floor, so they could spend some time together, before this happens. This time they headed to his room, as his roommate was still dancing... hopefully till 6am. Yet again, she fell asleep loudly snoring!
This time he managed to sleep as well and in the morning they all woke up late and in a rush she could not find her shoe.
‘Go pack and get ready to check out and I’ll bring you the shoe to the foyer’ he said and they separated for another half an hour that felt like eternity.
‘Here you are, Cinderella’ said Magical Shaggi, when they met again by the reception.
Most of the attendants of the congress were gathered there in the morning. He felt very satisfied giving her the shoe back while everyone (in his head 😉 ) was looking.
‘Yes, I scored this time you losers’ he thought to himself. Until this day he was the one seeing couples forming at those congresses and for once he was the one with a love story. A real fairy tale too.
Once everyone was checked out and ready for the next part of the journey, it seems like it was a time to say Goodbye. The time they were both avoiding like fire. Shaggi and Zack compared their flights and since they were hours apart, Maggi said quickly:
‘I can take you to the airport then’,
This guaranteed another hour or so together. She really didn't look forward to driving home alone after this magical weekend. She wanted the magic to last...
They still had time to grab some food, but while trying to stretch the time to the max, their wires got crossed and while Magical Shaggi gave her his boarding time, Magical Maggi assumed it was the flight departure time. Once Maggi realised the mistake, she still took him to the airport, knowing he won’t make it, but before they said the final Goodbye, she said:
‘I’ll be driving home very slowly, so please call me if won’t make it to the flight and I’ll drive back’.
Off he went to the departures, but of course he didn’t make it. He called her as soon as he knew for sure and luckily she was just at the nearby petrol station. Next flight was in 2 hours, so they could spend an extra hour together.
There was nowhere to go, but McDonalds near the hotel where they met. They sat in the car, drinking their coffees, counting Prius’es coming in and out of the car park and talking. They had the whole lifetime to catch up on, so again, while trying to stretch the time, they got lost in a moment and they were rushing to the airport again before they knew it.
‘I really don’t wanna take you to the airport again’ she said. ‘I’d rather take you home and make you stay there with me forever’.
That was probably the sweetest thing he ever heard from a person he just met 3 days ago. He had to go home though. He missed yet another flight, but this time the crew didn’t let him leave the airport again. It was the last flight back to his country that day and they didn’t want him to risk not getting back home.
He called her and they had a little chuckle about it. They talked for as long as they could before his flight departure. Couple hours later they talked again and then again the following day and the following day...
SO... Did they live happy ever after? Well, yes and no, but for the purpose of this article let’s say they did.
They discovered #HashKings game on Hive (https://farm.hashkings.app/play) and since they were both gamers and smokers, they simply fell in love again... this time with the game.
They headed over to NFTMart. Shaggi picked himself South America land and she picked Mexico.
Next, in Seeds section Shaggi picked a few Panama Red seeds, while Maggi picked Acapulco Gold. From HK Docs website they learned that each seed only grows in specific land. There found also much more useful information there about @hashkings ecosystem.

Next they picked some HKWATER tokens from Tribal Dex (https://tribaldex.com/trade/HKWATER). Good price on HKWATER this week btw 😉
They planted the seeds, watered them and got busy with themselves and dancing while waiting for 6-7 days for their crops to mature. Next, they picked up the BUDS and headed over to craft them into a joint. Like the first day, they smoked the joint and had a great time.
Days when they felt lucky, they spent their BUDS on lottery tickets. Other days they played RAIDS and Infernal Colloseum. They learned there is something for everyone and for every mood in Hash Kings ecosystem.
Game developers kept them entertained with new features and updates released regularly.
And they lived happy ever after ;)

Thanks Steve! The only time I actually had a back up, how ‘lucky’. I had to spend another half an hour or so to edit, but it was faster than first time round, as I remembered where the changes had to be made and had pics ready 😉
