This story begins in Valheim.

Four mighty Vikings stumbled upon each other in hopes of finding and eliminating The Elder (Valheim's second boss). The journey began upon ship on the coast near the Black Forest. En-route to the Elder, we stumbled upon a massive sea monster! No screen shot as my forsight sucked.
After docking on land because it nearly destroyed the ship, we made our repairs. The sea monster swam away as we nearly killed it..... what a bitch to start a fight then run...
We boarded the ship after the repairs and made our way out to see again. Guess what we forgot? The damn seeds to summon the Elder. Luckily we found a spawner where we could kill some baddies and aquire the seeds we needed to summon the Elder.
Again.... no screenshot cause I suck at this.
Off to the Elder we went with a fairly easy journey...... until a wave crashed into the boat and sent Bjorn overboard! It took a moment for us to realize in the midst of a crazy storm that was causing the waves to become massive! We were able to locate him.

We were dying with laughter as we tried to coordinate his pickup. We had to have him not try to swim to conserve stamina so he didnt drown otherwise he would have appeared all the way back where we started! The funny part was that every time we got close for him to grab onto the ladder, another wave would shove him under us, or us away from him! He almost died anyway! He was running out of stamina from just trying to swim to the boat when we were right next to him! This whole time we kept thinking about....
The sea monster! Luckily it never showed up. Lmao.
As we finally got him into the boat, barely alive, the storm subsided. LOL. Quite literally the waves stopped as soon as his hands hit the ladder.

From here it was smooth sailing to the Elder. As we got to land, we repaired a shelter and prepped our food. We slept through the night and got up ready to smash a Giant Tree god! Well... he may not be a god....
We found his alter, placed the seeds and posed ourselves in intimidating poses to cause fear in him.... well maybe I just thought this. In reality we kind of ran and hid.

This fight turned out to not be a terribly difficult fight, a long one for sure as we used bows and basic arrows. Fire works exceptional for this guy, but I (the noob) was the only one who had brought any fire arrows. 20 to be exact. Barely enough to scratch him. And it was on accident.

We died multiple times, which confirmed the idea of sleeping on this island and changing our spawn point before the fight. As we chiseled away at his massive health pool, death after death, he was nearly dead. Then Deranged decided it would be a better fight if we gave him a brother..... because obviously one wasn't enough....
So he placed more seeds! Luckily we killed the first one as the second spawned. We again took aim and decided to end the second one too.... Might as well.... we are already here and it took us 2 hours at least to get here. The second was much easier to fight as we had gotten the hang of this battle. We took him down. Claimed our loot, including the keys he drops, and began our long and arduous journey back to camp.
The realization that if we died at sea on our way back, we were fucked. We would spawn right back on this island, with nothing to our names, in the middle of no where....
Something doesn't add up here! The Elder was a great fight. The first time we beat him on our server we didn't check the area and were flooded with Greylings and Greydwarfs from three different spawners. We thought it was a part of the fight andI have to say it was really epic. 20+ enemies and more coming in addition to the boss. The fact that the shamans were healing the boss didn't exactly help. Eventually we realized it may not be intentional and we ran off to take down the spawners during the fight.
We had an experienced player who insisted we kill some spawners first. We still ended up with some adds later but it was few and we were many! Lol
YaY!!! Now we can go to the swamp and get iron!!
I found the mountains last night! I also have a bunch of iron and Tun now. Just need 5 more cores to make the coal production thing haha.
Forsure!! Don’t go up to the mountains alone!! It’s dangerous!! Haha

I’ll get you guys some materials to make wolfskin armor, so you have cold resistance.
Now that i got my sea legs under me i am anxiously looking forward to our next excursion! Your write-up was almost as epic as the raid! Great post. This game is definitely sink or swim.... i learned a little about both this day! hahaha
I’m excited for the next as well! I haven’t been on in a minute because life has been hectic the last two weeks. You definitely learned alot both first hand! Lmao.
Hopefully life will relent a bit and give us some time to take it out on the game! hahaha Hang in there browski! It's the Viking way!
