Mushrooms, Compost, Cannabis and Promoting Hive!

We have mushrooms growing everywhere

There are King Stropharia Mushrooms popping up in the greenhouse. mostly along the outer edges of the soil as I have been top dressing Fish Bone Meal to the pots.

There are mushrooms popping in both the composts! The compost pile that is cooling down has really nice mushroom growth happening!

While turning the compost pile that is not cooling down, I discovered tiny mushrooms today. They were small and hiding in the sides of the pile.

I have mushrooms in my Closet! Well, kind of.

Thank you to @jonyoudyer for the recommendation to use Doctor Zymes. I sent my friend to a local grow store and it turns out he ended up knowing one of the main ladies there. They knew each other from the 90s from when he was setting up big time booths at the Oregon Country Fair. So she gave him a free one gallon bottle of Doctor Zymes! Priced typically around $110.00-140.00 USD.

I treated the cannabis plants with the Doctor Zymes. I am not sure it wiped out any mildew out with this treatment. It might take a few more treatments. I did only go half strength.

I took advantage of the amazing curation of my last post to promote Hive to the Eugene, Oregon Gardening group on Facebook. Thank you curators!

FYI, I have a growing Hive NFT collection and gallery over at https://nftshowroom.com/. My profile picture is from that collection!

Hopefully we can add facebook to @poshtoken soon as well to reward such activity as you've demonstrated in this post a bit extra. :)

Yeah man, that would be cool! As I start to better organize my presence online, I will be traveling to online groups to build a network of potential clients. Many important connections to be made in those facebook groups and my Hive profile will be a key corner stone for it all! Hopefully, I can encourage people to help me test and build their soils/compost while gently pushing them to web 3.0 to be apart of the strongest crypto community out there. Even then if I can get just one person out of a group of 6.2 k to compost and start owning their content, than it will all be worthwhile!

Thank you for the support!

That’s really amazing! Small world. I hear the PM you all get up there is pretty knarly. One thing Dr Enzymes is something that is far more safer to use then Neem in this stage of growth. Plants look so good. Making me miss some outdoor I used to get out of Carmel Valley.

Yeah man! Good call! I recently stopped using instagram because they started limiting my ability to post by blocking the reels and video options. Before I left it two weeks ago many were talking about enzymes and mildew. To be honest most my exp is growing in full north cali sun, my fighting mildew game is not that strong cause I never really dealt with it before where a tea couldnt fix it etc. Yeah, the blights, molds and mildews is strong out here but if your plants are well pruned/de-leafed and not too far into bud than fighting it can be manageable.

I was checking the plants this morning after last nights treatment for half strength doc zymes and it looked pretty good. about 50-60% of the mildew is knock out. I love it! Such a chill way to finish off the plants anyways by cleaning off dirt, residues, frog poop, and etc!

You the man bro!

So true about the dirt! And plants normally do look happier the next day after a treatment. Again those plants are impressive, and it's fun being a spectator:)

And I'm not liking what Instagram is changing into to. Seems it wants to be a Tic Tok!

It has kind of been that way. I was kinda trying to slowly build up a network there with cannabis growers but yeah not really the place to do that. Plus you know what we got Hive. They can keep their corporate platform. Ironically, I am finding people to network with on facebook via their groups. 🤣

Thanks for your relentless support and love!

I’ll be getting with you soon about the radio show. I just swamped at the moment with the baby on the way. I know forsure I cannot commit to that yet. But soon bro! I ain’t going no where:)

Cannabis is very favorite 😊

She is my girl friend😜

It's amazing, anytime you want it's so easy! 😘

She is never cheap and wants all your money though...

Very precise, almost everyone needs it! 🤣

You have a beautiful canabis plant. Is it difficult to grow? My partner asks me if I can grow one for him but I never tried so I don't know how to care for it. I heard it needs special care otherwise it won't flower.

It grows like a tomato plant! Sun, Water, love and forest soil!

Aw cool, I know how to grow tomatoes so it should be fine. Will try if I have a chance to do it. Have a lovely weekend

very illustrative post.
In my country, it is not yet legal to grow cannabis, but I know with time, it will come.
It must be a very uplifting experience.
Thanks for sharing it.
Regards

It is more medicinal than actually consuming it! Cannabis is the most cultivate plant in human history. It is a age old companionship!

Whoa! I didn't know mushroom could grow in places like that. I've really been wanting to see mushroom and tried to even go to jungle nearby my place but could never find something like that 😅. Is that a hoodie with hive logo? where did you get it from :D?

Even in jungle environments local governments use chemicals to kill mushrooms to help keep people from eating bad ones or decrease foot traffic in areas of preservation.

My suggestion to find mushrooms is to research the mushrooms for your area and find out the good (medicinal), bad (poisonous) and psychedelic (spiritual). Learn how to spore print with a very white piece of paper and go to areas of the jungle with minimal foot traffic, minimal sun and lots of fallen trees under a canopy. Mushrooms are very sensitive to foot traffic and sun.

The Hive hoodie I bought from @arcange and his Hive buzz shop! I am not sure about shipping locations though. I know @bhattg in India mentioned something about not so enticing shipping rates. Maybe arcange or bhattg can refer ya to a local-ish Hive merchandise provider!

Mushrooms is one of my favorites food since they don't contain fat and they are good protein. I have not learnt how they are grown using compost reacting it with fungicide products to facilitate their growth. This really a good lessons for me. Thanks very much for teaching us.

Well, I am trying to avoid fungicides. The doctor zymes is a enzyme product. But yeah man the mushrooms are naturally occurring to the environment and from the compost materials!

The cannabis look so healthy including the mushrooms. Thanks for sharing this amazing post and have a wonderful day

Is it hard to grow CANNABIS?

It depends on what you are trying to do. Yes, it can be in ways. It all depends on your soil health, environment, water conditions etc. In general it is easy in mountain regions with fungal dominate soil with a decent grow season ie no frost until late october-early november.

Wow! It was a bit complicated...
