Welcome to Week 29 of the Hive Garden Question!
Last week asked us to talk about if we spoke to, communed with, or got messages from plants. Of course we all thought we communicated with plants in some way.
@sanjeevm argued that with positive vibes, plants respond in kind - his healthy plants seem to agree! @markone85 also takes this practical stance - what you put in, you get back. @actioncats told a very sweet story of her mother talking to plants, and how if you don't talk to them you're probably neglecting them!
Newcomer @oratorlaw wrote a lovely piece about the messages we get from nature.
The message seemed simple, slow down and notice life around you. Every leaf, every bird, and even the flowing water of the nearby stream moved in its own rhythm, unhurried and peaceful. Watching them, I understood how often I rush through life, worrying about the future or dwelling on the past, forgetting that life is happening right now. Nature, in its quiet way, was reminding me that it’s okay to pause, breathe, and be present.
@encuentro also wrote a lovely piece about how he recieved medicinal help from nature just when he needed it the most. Attention to the plant world meant he was able to really listen and remember what could help him in his illness.
