Garden May Journal 2

in HiveGardenyesterday

Hello gardeners, how are you?
I can already complain that I'm tired, when the winter will come to rest, I'm kidding.
A lot of work is behind us, and it's normal for fatigue to come.
I planted a new batch of radishes right next to the cherry tomatoes. It's warm and with watering the radishes arrive quickly.

There is a lot of dill this year and my wife regularly picks it and adds it to dishes and salads.

And of course, no dish can be complete without onions and garlic.

And our cherries have ripened a lot more this year ,my son could hardly wait.

And of course we sweeten it all with new baked potatoes

We picked the peas about 2-3 weeks ago and yesterday we picked them all off.

We plan to plant our peppers in the garden next week . But I got a few varieties of peppers and tomatoes from a friend . I marked each row to keep track of how each variety is doing in my garden .

We also installed a watering system, we installed arches on which we will later hang the shade net, and we mulched with straw.

It's getting crowded in the garden, we're watering it part by part. It's roughly divided into four parts. To relieve the water pump and make sure it has good pressure.

A meter-long green bean and cucumber are thriving in a small fairy garden.

The marigolds have bloomed in the greenhouse, and I think the cherry tomatoes will too.

We made a little space for Albicia under the cypress trees.

The little chicks that have grown up I tried to let them into this part where there is a lot of grass. I put some plastic nets to protect the raspberries but. It seems I made a shelter for them there :)

I know that many of you like, and we like too, to sit down and rest after work.IMG20260524214016.jpg

Wow, your garden is huge! And it's way ahead of ours. Your climate must be warmer, and perhaps you also have a nice greenhouse. Is that an orchard in the background of some of the photos? It looks great!

Thank you. It can be really hot here at this time of year, but this year it's bearable for now. We have a small greenhouse. Three gardens, a front flower garden, a small fairy garden and a vegetable garden. And we also have an orchard, but the orchard you see in the pictures is our neighbor's. Ours would be on the left in the picture.

Fairy garden is getting more and more magical with the addition of the plants ^_^ The rest of your gardens are so organised O_O

Thank you, and we hope it's completely magical. I made a rake to rake rows the width of a grass trimmer. And then, while we're not mulching the rows, I can easily and quickly mow the grass and chop the soil.

That's quite a big patch of land you have there. I understand that it is a lot of work. But your also harvesting quite a lot, which is very nice.

Yes, it is a big plot, it is normal to get tired
But I am not complaining, I am mostly joking :)
Because we are satisfied with what we produce.
