When Steemit was first popular, this little-known tag called '#boombox' existed on the blockchain. My following soon became the music community's following. My three profiles, @elderson, @fortpeacesteemit, and @orbitdrop, were dedicated to sharing sounds from all over the globe in participation to bring more exposure, especially to upcoming artists and their dedicated armies. #Boombox has plans to become its own smart contract token, and Hive engine (https://hive-engine.com/) might just be the best place to begin. We've seen all sorts of excellent project launching since the announcement of SMTs or "Smart Media Tokens" for those who keep a mouth full. One of my favorite Hive Engine tokens right now is @weedcash. This cannabis community has the same concept but with stronger roots than us. Our roots will grow because we have faith and are excited to share the ongoing adventure with everyone who participates.
So What Exactly Is #BOOMBOX Anyways?
#boombox is a tag where everyone can obtain free music shares from my three profiles mentioned above and their growing following. This tag also utilizes an extra exposure outlet for those sharing sounds on the Hive social media blockchain.
It's that simple. Include music or link to some music in your post, and my there profiles will share with every participating member's content. Now let's go over some simple rules............
Rule #1:
Up to Four eligible posts per day, per profile can be shared.
The Hive algorithm will reduce rewards after posting more than four main blog posts of anything within 24 hours. We have this rule in place to help maximize your rewards.
Rule #2:
Please be respectful
You may not like everything added to #boombox, and that's totally okay; just don't ruin anyone's day over it. Rude and inconsiderate behavior will result in eventual ineligibility, and you'll remain blocked.
Rule #3:
In The Event #Boombox Begins To Recieve 100 + Post A Day....
If #boombox gains 100 + eligible posts for shares a day (let's hope it does), a 'bot' will be developed for maintaining the infrastructure more smoothly. Opportunities for developer partnerships will arise, and funding for such projects should be forecasted to be strong during these times. Once Rule 3 takes effect, please expect longer wait times for re-shares until bot development is complete.
#BOOMBOX was made with YOU in mind. We on the moderation side of the group want to hear what you can bring to the public. Keep it, 'Jammin'! The tag doesn't have an 'official' moderator set up on Hive yet. If anyone knows how to help us get this going, please leave a comment below.
