Happy Dead Burd Day Y'all!

Shhh!!!!! Keep it down, this Dead Burd Day we're undercover in the land of golf and timeshares. It's a unique type of critter that frequents these lands, we've infiltrated their habitat in hopes of learning more about them.

If this Dead Burd Day tradition didn't blow our cover we should be alright. The flag to fencepost ratio around here is nearly 1:1, although I'm unsure if this is meant as talismans to ward off the Evil Ones or simply protective coloration.

This is a holy place. Why else would would they devote so much time and effort to the care of these sorts of things? Still a waste of a perfectly good rifle range if you ask me...

Rust never sleeps, which is probably why our accommodations included this memorial to the Grill That Once Was. Grilled turkey burd is off the menu boys! Good thing we had a plan b.

The weather has been a bit on the inclement side, so we haven't been able to get out and document the local wildlife as much as we'd like but tomorrow should be better. In the meantime we've got Magic and dead burd to keep us pacified.

How's everyone's Thanksgiving/Thursday going?

PS: WTF is up with HIVE's price today?

Sort:

Aye Hive is pumpin away, Glad to see the holy talismans are still strung everywhere. I stuck to some good old dead pig coated in some honey and mustard on this dead burd day.

No gobble gobble motherfuckers in this house yesterday, Unless Wild Turkey Counts.

And As always...
Nice Shots

That dead pig don't sound too bad, when my whole family gets together for holidays we usually have one of them around somewhere.

Lol, Wild Turkey counts! One Christmas break while I was in college, me and a bunch of friends from high school threw a house party and the next morning I staggered back into my mom's house with a bottle of the Turkey that was leftovers. Me and my little brother then proceeded to drink the Wild Turkey before mom came home on her lunch break. Somehow she never figured out we were drunk, much less why we kept yelling 'gobble gobble' at one another.

Thanks!
