Clearly, the Falls at Hills Creek had me feeling like I was in my element. I mean just look how happy I look under the biggest of the three waterfalls at this location. It was such an excellent idea by @flowerbaby to hop over the railing and climb down onto this huge rock. I'm sure the majority of people who visit this location do not take the time to get as close as we did. It may have been 80°F on this day, but it was still early spring and that means the water was ice cold. Not quite time to go swimming yet, but being by the water was good enough for me. I would have loved to get underneath the falls and feel the water pour down on me. That is a goal of mine, I have to come better prepared for something like that though. Speaking of the title of this post, doesn't Daltono Falls sound like a cool place to visit?

Great photos bro, you definitely look in your element with nature, looking good! 👍
I appreciate it, dude. This was the type of place I could have just chilled at all day and totally forgotten that digital life even exists.
How lucky to be that close. It is a freedom. You feel as free as water in free fall, don't you?
Jumping over a fence is a crazy thing to do, it would be even crazier if @flowerbaby challenged you to jump into water that freezes your freedom @daltono. That would be really crazy. But, thankfully that didn't happen
We are lucky to have the ability to climb down where we could get closer. A lot of people would have struggled to do so and would be forced to stay far away from the falls because of this.
If I had brought towels or a change of clothes, I would have gotten in the water. We were not fully prepared to have a lovely place to swim like this.
Hahahahaha that name sounds good hahaha, but how beautiful the place is wow I loved it and very good photos the truth, but what a spectacular place I hope to meet it one day when I go to the US hahaha 😆
The sound of the place was just as amazing as the look of it. I hope that you are able to visit the USA soon if that is something that you really hope to do.
The truth is, yes, it is what I have always wanted, I did not want to migrate to Colombia but I could only go there hehehe I hope to be there soon and meet again with part of my family that migrated there
One of my good friends from college was from Colombia. He always tried to get me to go, but I never had the money to afford such a trip. Now that I do, we haven’t spoken in years and he has a family to keep him busy now. Seize your first opportunity to travel to USA, no hesitation!
Well I'm not Colombian hahaha I'm Venezuelan but you already know the problems of my country, I had to migrate and I migrated to Colombia a beautiful country but here I still don't feel well and I feel like I'm stuck, there in the USA at least I have more family where I will feel support and well, the truth is that I have always liked USA and DISNEY hahahahahaha
I knew that you were Venezuelan, but did not know you lived in Colombia. At least you are no longer stuck in Venezuela. It is difficult to live somewhere where you are not fully satisfied, especially without your family. The USA is great and I've been to Disney World once as a child, very fun. I think going back one day as an adult is in order.
Dude this is awesome, and really makes me want to go to WV!! I love hiking and exploring the wilderness, and the view down that creek makes me want to go out so bad! There's an abandoned observatory in the woods not too far away actually that is an awesome place to go explore and hike around! Definitely nothing compared to that amazing waterfall though! @nicksmitley do you know anywhere close by like this? Indy or Kentucky maybe?
Nothing like this close by, but I'm always down to go exploring!
WV is great, but a bit isolated and I see why people who don’t live in the state fail to visit often. If you like white water rafting, we have some of the best with the New River and often dangerous Gauley River.
I haven’t been to Indiana yet, but we are aiming to visit Indiana Dunes at some point this summer hopefully.
Also we have been to Red River Gorge in KY. I have many posts on that, here: https://peakd.com/ccc/daltono/red-river-gorge-collection
oh yea! lets go to Daltono Falls this weekend, honey..
I'll be at the entryway letting all visitors take a photo with the living statue of Daltono.
😂
Nice pics! It seems that spring has come to your town as well! 😉👍 🥦 !love 🥦
Yes, finally it is here. This warmer weather is getting us outside a lot more and we are very happy about it.

Simply beautiful. I like the flow of energy which comes over the water into us, the breathtaking photography.
I wish there was a waterfall emoji so badly.
