Mirarse al espejo, en tiempos de María Castaña, era un tabú para la sociedad. Un paradigma muy arraigado, pues se consideraba que las personas eran narcisistas, orgullosas y engreídas. Sin embargo, considero que el miedo al espejo va mucho más allá, en lo más íntimo de cada individuo. Asocio espejo, a la madrastra de Blanca Nieves. Siempre me he preguntado: ¿todos los espejos pueden hablar? Es una curiosa pregunta. Pero, conozco la respuesta.
Los espejos sí hablan, pero el ser humano, no escucha y si lo hace se hace el loco porque no le conviene. Si atrevemos a miramos a través de él, serenos capaces de reconocernos, valorarnos, querernos y tener la certeza de que podemos construir nuestro mundo y esforzarnos cada día para ser mejores personas y seguir los consejos del angelito bueno.
“Espejito, espejito: ¿quién es la más bella del reino”
Desde mi punto de vista, algunas personas, les da miedo verse a través del espejo porque muy dentro de sí, ya conocen la respuesta, por esta razón repudian al pobrecito Espejito… Ya que en él se refleja lo que somos, nuestros sentimientos y sin máscara. Sobre todo, vemos al monstruo que llevamos dentro. Aunque no lo crean, ni lo quieran aceptar, tenemos un monstruo que lucha por salir y que cualquier emoción o sentimiento negativo, puede hacer que despierte.
Las malas vibras como les decimos son ocasionadas algunas veces por la envidia, celos, odio, despecho, entre otras. Todo lo anterior, llevan al ser humano a ser capaces de todas las atrocidades.
Es por esta razón, que hay que vibrar alto y tener pensamientos positivos para mantener a raya al monstruo o angelito malo. El no querer mirarnos, reconocernos y aceptarnos como somos, es lo que nos aleja de los espejos. El ser humano, siempre se pregunta:
¿Por qué me sucede a mí?
¿Por qué atraigo eventos negativos?
¿Por qué se acercan personas tóxicas a mi vida?
¿Por qué, a mí?
La respuesta está allí, a la vista, aunque cerremos los ojos, desviemos la mirada o nos hagamos los locos, siempre atraeremos lo que irradiamos porque vibras en esa misma sintonía. Muy internamente, en ese pozo sin fin, esta nuestro verdadero yo, es decir nuestra cara sin mascaras ni maquillaje. Casualmente, vi un video en Instagram de Ismael Cala, sobre las tres caras de las personas y me impresionó y lo asocie con el tema de Talento “Espejos”. Les dejo el link:

Lo que dice Ismael Cala, sobre la tercera cara, esa cara que está dentro, muy en el fondo del foso y que nadie ve. El indica que si irradiamos luz y vibramos alto podemos ser felices. Pero, yo me pregunto: ¿y si no es así, si, por el contrario, somos seres con vibras negativas? Creo que a nadie le conviene que se conozca esta cara. Quizás crean que son exageraciones mías. Pero puede suceder en cualquier momento y nadie está excepto de esto.
Las personas son así, no es su culpa, sino de la sociedad y no se muestran por temor a ser rechazados. En fin, cada cabeza es un mundo, solo sé que no se nada, pero, creo que por nuestra salud mental, hay que contrarrestar el lado oscuro y desaparecer al angelito malo, y esto se puede lograr con mucho amor. A veces creo, que a la sociedad solo le interesa la belleza física y no les importa ¿quiénes somos?, sino cómo nos vemos.
Amigos de #EmpowerTalent, si nos vemos a través del espejo podemos aprender mucho sobre nosotros, sobre todo a querernos.

Looking in the mirror, in María Castaña's time, was taboo in society. It was a deeply rooted paradigm, as people were considered narcissistic, proud, and conceited. I have always wondered: can all mirrors talk? It's a curious question. But I know the answer.
Mirrors do speak, but human beings do not listen, and if they do, they pretend not to because it does not suit them. If we dare to look through it, we will be able to recognize ourselves, value ourselves, love ourselves, and be certain that we can build our world and strive every day to be better people and follow the advice of the good angel.
“Mirror, mirror: who is the fairest in the land?”
From my point of view, some people are afraid to look at themselves in the mirror because deep down, they already know the answer, which is why they reject the poor little mirror... Because it reflects who we are, our feelings, without any masks. Above all, we see the monster inside us. Even if you don't believe it or don't want to accept it, we all have a monster inside us that struggles to get out, and any negative emotion or feeling can awaken it.Bad vibes, as we call them, are sometimes caused by envy, jealousy, hatred, spite, among other things. All of the above lead human beings to be capable of all kinds of atrocities.
That's why we have to vibrate high and have positive thoughts to keep the monster or evil angel at bay. Not wanting to look at ourselves, recognize ourselves, and accept ourselves as we are is what keeps us away from mirrors. Human beings always ask themselves:
Why is this happening to me?
Why do I attract negative events?
Why do toxic people come into my life?
Why me?
The answer is there, in plain sight, even if we close our eyes, look away, or pretend not to see. We will always attract what we radiate because we vibrate on the same wavelength. Deep inside, in that bottomless well, is our true self, that is, our face without masks or makeup. Coincidentally, I saw a video on Instagram by Ismael Cala about the three faces of people, and it impressed me and I associated it with the Talent theme “Mirrors.” Here is the link:

What Ismael Cala says about the third face, that face that is inside, deep down in the pit and that no one sees. He indicates that if we radiate light and vibrate highly, we can be happy. But I wonder: what if that's not the case, what if, on the contrary, we are beings with negative vibrations? I think it's in no one's interest for this side to be known. You may think I'm exaggerating. But it can happen at any time, and no one is exempt from it.
People are like that, it's not their fault, but society's, and they don't show it for fear of being rejected. Anyway, everyone is different, I only know that I don't know anything, but I think that for our mental health, we have to counteract the dark side and make the evil angel disappear, and this can be achieved with a lot of love. Sometimes I think that society is only interested in physical beauty and doesn't care who we are, but how we look.

“Espejito, espejito: ¿quién es la más bella del reino”
Cuando vi esta película por primera vez era una niña de siete años, me deslumbró la voz del espejo y no he de mentir, me dio mucho miedo. He visto muchas versiones de Blanca Nieves, y siempre llego a la misma conclusión, no es un ser sometido, ni encarcelado, ni un ente aparte. Es el alma de la madrastra, su yo interior malvado, envidioso y oscuro. Que no acepta que otra persona pueda ser más bonita. Así como ella, hay muchas personas en el mundo. Como decía la abuelita Bertita’s : “arrastrando su alma negra”
Lo único que les importa es la belleza física, aunque sea falsa, y el monstruo que tienen dentro haga lo que quiere; de todas maneras, nadie lo va a saber por qué está muy oculto. Así piensan algunas personas. Creo que no es tan simple, como ellos creen, porque en algún momento se descuidan y emerge el angelito malo y les complica la vida. Pero, ¡cada loco que asuma sus decisiones!
A pesar de que tengo defectos y de que a veces mis días se pintan de gris y son turbulentos. Considero que mis acciones están comprometidas en hacer el bien, apoyar y dar consuelo a los que me necesitan. A los espejos no hay que tenerles miedo, hay que aprender a escudriñar dentro de nuestro ser y sacar lo mejor. También la belleza de nosotros mismos.
En definitiva, a través de mi espejo, aprendí cosas maravillosas, entre ellas a amarme, aceptarme y a mostrarme cómo soy. También a contrarrestar el miedo y alejar al angelito malo. Aprendí a que amar al prójimo, a los animalitos indefensos y a la naturaleza. Y al ser empática y humilde, alejan de mí, todo lo negativo para que mi luz brille y pueda alumbrar mi camino y el del prójimo.

“Mirror, mirror: who is the fairest in the land?”
When I first saw this movie, I was a seven-year-old girl. I was dazzled by the voice of the mirror, and I won't lie, it scared me a lot. I've seen many versions of Snow White, and I always come to the same conclusion: she is not a subjugated being, nor is she imprisoned, nor is she a separate entity. She is the soul of the stepmother, her evil, envious, and dark inner self. She cannot accept that someone else could be more beautiful. There are many people in the world like her. As Grandma Bertita's said, “dragging her black soul.”
The only thing that matters to them is physical beauty, even if it's fake, and the monster inside them can do whatever it wants; anyway, no one will know because it's well hidden. That's how some people think. I don't think it's as simple as they believe, because at some point they let their guard down and the evil angel emerges and complicates their lives. But, to each their own!
Even though I have flaws and sometimes my days are gray and turbulent, I believe that my actions are committed to doing good, supporting, and comforting those who need me. We shouldn't be afraid of mirrors; we must learn to look deep inside ourselves and bring out the best. That includes our own beauty.
In short, through my mirror, I learned wonderful things, including how to love and accept myself and show myself as I am. I also learned how to counteract fear and ward off the evil angel. I learned to love my neighbor, defenseless animals, and nature. And by being empathetic and humble, I keep all negativity away from me so that my light can shine and illuminate my path and that of others.

Realmente, no sera fácil mirarse al espejo, mas aun cuando dices que desde la época de Matusalén estaba casi prohibido mirarse en él. Sin duda alguna, miraremos lo que llevamos por dentro y algunas veces no gustará. Pero, hay que superarse eso y mirarse en el porque es hermoso y cuando lo hagas sonríe, porque el devolverá todo lo que mire.
