Yoyoyo runners!!
In today’s post, I’m sharing yesterday’s workout that I couldn’t upload at the time.
Workout timeline:
1) 1.2K warm-up, roughly 8 minutes
2) 4K at a 5:00/km pace
3) 1.2K cool-down, again around 8 minutes
You can check out my workout on Strava here
More details:
I really enjoyed this session. The pace felt right — smooth and controlled — and I honestly felt like I could’ve kept going for quite a few more kilometers, which is exactly how a medium-effort run should feel.
I think it did a great job setting me up for today’s workout: 70' of running at a 6:00/km pace.

Check out the split times for each lap below!
| Lap Type | Lap | Distance (km) | Time | Pace |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Warm Up | 1 | 1,2 | 07:52 | 6:33 |
| 4K | 2 | 4,0 | 19:35 | 4:54 |
| Cool Down | 3 | 1,2 | 07:57 | 6:37 |
Side Note:
Over the first 2K I was about 5s faster (around 1s/lap), and overall I ended up 25s quicker. I decided to nudge the pace up a bit.
Good afternoon Community guidelines require publication with a minimum of 200 words and 5 photos of the workout (route, selfie map, group, etc.)
My apologies — I’ll make sure to do it properly from my next posts onward.
