I'm starting the post by thanking @theycallmedan for supporting the hive blockchain with everything that he can.
This is my 1st response to #HiveBasics Initiative! of @theycallmedan.
This is my response to the first question which is...
Well, I've checked on answers of many authors thinking I might get some idea from em and to be honest... I was confused.
So I started writing what's in my mind.
I'm responding with two languages (English & Bengali) in both the video & the blogpost.
Actually... There are two questions in "What is HIVE and how does it work?".
So I'm answering em seperately.
Let's do it.
In English...
What is HIVE?
Hive... It's a decentralized platform, a community where authors are rewarded for their contributions in sharing their writing, creativity, lifestyle, etc.
If I talk about earning money then I'd say, "Earning money was never easy, never will be unless you try something that's criminal in nature - Collected".
But I don't know if there's a more easier and funnier way to earn money than using #hive blockchain.
On many other social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram you can share your writing, creativity, lifestyle if you want but as far as I know you will not get any money for it, well I did not get it.
But if you can present that same work a little nicer on the hive blockchain then you can make money as well as good readers.
Hive plays a very good role in that case.
So Hive is a medium where you don't give up your creativity for free, you get paid in return.
Yeah, it's possible that you'll not be able to earn as you expected and believe me, the same happened to me.
At the beginning of my journey, I did lot of things just to earn a 2/3 cents worth upvote.
I even went to the campus of Jahangirnagar University to win a photography contest, while the 1st place winner of that contest had very little prize.
Since then I have not backed down and as a result, I am getting a good amount from here at present.
So that's it ...
What is hive?
I know all these as the answer to this question.
But if there is a question as to what Hive is to me.
Then I will say without hesitation, "Hive is my second home and Hive is the pillar of fulfilling my dream.
How does hive work?
I will explain to hive users in two parts how hive works.
- Investors: Investors are the ones who have saved the hive ecosystem by investing their money here as well as earning income instead of their investment.
- Author: I am not talking about an author who has written a novel or a poem.
In hive, authors are the ones who are writing to highlight their daily life, their creativity in Hive. The author is here to help keep Hive alive through his hard work and creativity.
Hive has been working with both investors and writers.
In Bengali (বাংলায়).
হাইভ কি?
হাইভ একটি ডিসেন্ট্রালাইজড মাধ্যম, একটি সমাজ যেখানে একজন লেখক তার লেখা, সৃজনশীলতা, জীবনধারা সম্পর্কে শেয়ার করে পুরস্কৃত হতে পারে।
যদি অর্থ উপার্জনের ক্ষেত্রে বলি তাহলে বলবো, "টাকা উপার্জন করা কখনোই সহজ ছিল না যদি না আপনি অসৎ উপায় অব্লম্বন করেন"
কিন্তু আমার দেখা অনুযায়ী অর্থ উপার্জনের ক্ষেত্রে হাইভ (#Hive) এর চেয়ে সহজ আর মজার উপায় আছে বলে আমার জানা নেই।
অন্যান্য অনেক সোশ্যাল মিডিয়াতে যেমন ফেসবুক, টুইটার, ইন্সটাগ্রাম এ আপনি চাইলেই আপনার লেখা, সৃজনশীলতা, জীবনধারা সম্পর্কে শেয়ার করতে পারবেন কিন্তু আমার জানা মতে তার জন্যে আপনি কোন অর্থ পাবেন না, আমি পাই নি।
কিন্তু সেই একই কাজ যদি আপনি একটু সুন্দরভাবে হাইভে উপস্থাপন করতে পারেন তাহলে আপনি ভালো পাঠক এর পাশাপাশি অর্থ উপার্জন করতে পারবেন।
সেই ক্ষেত্রে হাইভ খুবই ভালো একটা ভুমিকা রাখে।
তো হাইভ এমন একটা মাধ্যম যেখানে আপনি আপনার সৃজনশীলতা ফ্রিতে ছেরে দিচ্ছেন না, আপনি বিনিময়ে অর্থ পাচ্ছেন।
হ্যা, এমনটা হতে পারে যে আপনি হাইভ এ আসার পর প্রথমদিকে তেমন আশানুরুপ অর্থ উপার্জন করতে পারছেন না, বিশ্বাস করেন আমার সাথেও এটা হয়েছে।
১ম দিকে আমি ২/৩ সেন্ট এর ভোটের জন্যে কতকিছুই না করেছি, একটা ফটোগ্রাফি কন্টেস্টে জিতার জন্যে জাহাঙ্গীরনগর ইউনিভার্সিটির ক্যাম্পাসেও গিয়েছি অথছ সেই কন্টেস্ট এর ১ম স্থান অধিকারি ব্যাক্তির পুরস্কার ছিল খুবই সামান্য।
এরপর আমি পিছ পা হইনি আর তার ফলসরূপ এখান থেকে এখন আমি ভালোই একটা অ্যামাউন্ট পাচ্ছি।
তো এটাই...
হাইভ কি?
এই প্রশ্নের উত্তর হিসেবে আমি এইসবই জানি।
কিন্তু যদি এমন কোন প্রশ্ন আসে যে হাইভ আমার কাছে কি।
তাহলে আমি নির্দ্বিধায় বলবো যে, "হাইভ আমার দ্বিতীয় ঘর এবং হাইভ আমার স্বপ্ন পুরনের পিলার স্বরূপ।
হাইভ কিভাবে কাজ করে?
হাইভ ইউজারদেরকে আমি ২ভাগে ভাগ করে বুঝাচ্ছি হাইভ কিভাবে কাজ করে।
১. ইনভেস্টরঃ ইনভেস্টর তারা যারা এখানে তাদের অর্থ ইনভেস্ট করে হাইভ ইকোসিস্টেমটাকে বাচিয়ে রেখেছে এবং পাশাপাশি তাদের ইনভেস্ট এর পরিবর্তে ইনকাম করছে।
২. লেখকঃ এখানে লেখক বলতে কোন উপন্যাস বা কবিতা লেখা লেখক এর কথা বলছি না।
হাইভ এ নিজের দৈনিক জিবন, নিজের সৃজনশীলতা ফুটিয়ে তোলার জন্যে যারা লিখে যাচ্ছেন তারাই লেখক। লেখক এখানে তার পরিশ্রম এবং সৃজনশীলতার মাধ্যমে হাইভ কে বাচিয়ে রাখতে সাহায্য করছে।
ইনভেস্টর এবং লেখক উভয়কে নিয়েই ঠিক এভাবে কাজ করে আসছে হাইভ।
