Cook With Us - a whole new chapter of fun and yummies

We're at the end of March and April is about to begin. This lockdown with all it's problems, has brought about some good - somehow many of us are being way more creative than we were with the normal hustle and bustle of life. The world is quieter, the waters and seas are cleaner and we're learning more about ourselves as each day passes.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who cannot take care of themselves and for people who are in jobs where they don't find any Government assistance.

What has happened to all of our lovely Venezuelans who were sending in their posts to @cookwithus. Come back and share with us.

We all look forward to life when normality returns and can only hope that this happens soon.

Cook with us - has been with the platform for 2 years now and I guess we also need to re-introduce ourselves to the old community and to the many new people who have joined.

There are posts on how to build a survival cabin - see @samstonehill post and @deimus is teaching us how to make a South African favourite snack - biltong.

As we are confined to our homes on self-isolation or quarantine, we are seeing a lot more people coming out of the woodwork so to speak and seeing a lot of DIY posts.

People are cooking more, baking more and we have decided to start off our journey on this new platform HIVE giving everyone the opportunity to join - so, here's a challenge - with the limited supplies you have at home and maybe some ingredients missing, how about creating some crazy recipes - hey the subject is ANYTHING GOES - As long as it is food-related.

Take some selfies - show us your kitchen or your ingredients and get those chef's hats out. No, not really - you have to cook don't you? So show us some of your food.

For all our supporters from the past you can also dig up some of your old posts and re-invent them - after all there are many new folks here who haven't seen your talents.

@zord189 said he has just started cooking for himself and actually enjoying cooking - share some of your creations Zord we would love to see them.

At the end of the day let's just have fun.

Also, we have a community now - CWU Recipe Book - another place for your wonderful recipes and photographs. That ebook Cookery Book is definitely something we are planning to bring to all our foodies on the platform.

Des petites tartes sans farine qui reste très moelleuse. A déguster tel quel, ou à garnir selon vos envies. Très simple et très rapide à faire. Je remplace le sucre par du miel.
