Hello friends of my dear community of @hive, how nice that you are here visiting this little corner of crafts made with a lot of love, today I bring you a very beautiful and simple project but the best of all is that I do it with recycled material , you are right! I took my husband's old pants that were discarded there and turned them into a beautiful Bag which you can use for your casual outings, but this time I did it motivated by a fun proposal made by my friend @yennizer, who proposed a Challenge of Creative Recycling where projects with recycled material are presented, a project that I consider important since in addition to making crafts which I love, we do them with a purpose and that is to preserve the environment, so without anything else to say, let's get to work.
Materiales:
- Un pantalón de jeans viejo que ya no utilices.
- Cinta métrica
- Aguja
- Hilo
- Piedras para decorar.
- Tijeras
Materials:
- An old jeans that you no longer use.
- Measuring tape
- Needle
- Thread
- Stones to decorate.
- Scissors
Lo primero que tenemos que hacer es tomar una de las botas de nuestro pantalon y medir 35 cts y cortar, luego abrimos nuestra bota a la mitad, hacemos este procedimiento con las dos botas de nuestro pantalón.
Process:
The first thing we have to do is take one of the boots from our pants and measure 35 cts and cut, then we open our boot in half, we do this procedure with the two boots from our pants.
Then we mount one piece on the other and sew along the edges leaving the top open (we sew where the orange stripes are in the photo), then we fold the corners as seen in the photo and measure approximately 7 cts and sew once done this we sew the tip to the side so that it does not move.
Luego procedemos a dar vuelta a nuestro bolso, notaremos que le quedara una especie de base en la parte de abajo!
Then we proceed to turn our bag, we will notice that it will have a kind of base at the bottom!
To make the handles of our bag we cut the waistband of our pants and then we cut it in half to obtain two, then we sewed them to our bag averaging that they were centered.
Now we will work with the decoration, we create a mold which we will transfer to the jeans fabric and then we cut, then we insert a thread all over the straight edge which we will pull to crease and close the flower and then place an appliqué in the center to decorate.
We make as many flowers as we want to decorate our bag, I made 12 to fill the entire front part, then we proceed to sew them to our bag.
We sew all the flowers in the way we like the most or giving it the shape we want, I sewed them so that they covered the entire front side.
Quedando así nuestro hermoso bolso hecho reciclando un jeans viejo!
Thus leaving our beautiful bag made by recycling an old jeans!
