When I began my career teaching computer science, I had many experiences that I will never forget. I managed to stay in the same place for 19 years. About a year ago, I made a complete change and moved to another educational setting that could offer me the necessary conditions to really make use of free technology with students.
Cuando inicie mi carrera de la docencia en informática viví muchas experiencias que nunca voy a olvidar. En un mismo lugar logré estar por 19 años. Hace aproximadamente tuve un cambio total y me dirijo a otro espacio educativo que me podía ofrecer las condiciones necesarias para poder realmente hacer uso de la tecnología libre con los estudiantes.
I have always heard that change is for the better, and I truly do not doubt that. I feel that this decision was the best thing I have ever done.
Siempre he escuchado que los cambios son para mejor, y la verdad no lo pongo en duda. Siento que está decisión tomada, fue lo mejor que he hecho.
In recent weeks, I have devoted myself to getting to know and assisting those students who are fascinated by learning with technology. It is so rewarding to see the excitement when the children enter the computer room.
En estás semanas me he dedicado a conocer y atender a esos estudiantes que les fascina aprender con la tecnología.Es demasiado gratificante vera emoción cuando los niños entran a el espacio de computación.
This week has been very productive for all the children; they have already received their respective refresher courses on computer use and are quite excited about their upcoming visits to the computer lab.
Está semana ha sido muy productiva para todos los niños; ya han recibido su respectivo refuerzo sobre el manejo del computador y se muestran bastante ansiosos con las próximas visitas a su aula de computación.
I feel that my change of location has made me realise that we should not be afraid of change and that if you are going to be better off somewhere else, then go ahead and give it your best shot.
Siento que mi cambio de espacio, me ha pensar que no debemos tener miedo a los cambios y que si en otro lugar vas a estar mejor. Adelante y da lo mejor de ti.
