The bull-run is a time in the crypto market cycle where everyone is elated about the prospect of earning millions. I also have had dreams of millions recently. What's stopping me from dreaming?
Away from the hysteria and the dopamine rush, it is almost important to understand your position and what you want out of all this bull-run. Many have forgotten how they struggled during the bear full and everything seems rosy at this point.
I am not aiming for millions. That would be shooting myself in the leg giving the size of my current capital. I could live with thousands. It is not about the money for me. This is something I have had to remember of late.
About a week again I was talking to a fellow hivian about the prospect of hive reaching $20. If that did happen I would have around $60,000. What could I possibly do with that money?
There are very few important things in my life I need to sort out at this point and it will take less than $10,000. I probably would never need to power down or sell hive again because I would be comfortable with various income streams.
Although, there is this urge that comes with making more money. The more you earn, the more you spend. This applies to many people, including myself. What this does, in the long run, is make one a slave to money.
Desire is suffering
The more you want, the more you suffer. However, it is easier when you want things for someone other than yourself. My life is driven by my service to my family. It is the one thing that keeps me motivated.
I do wonder what my life's purpose would be when I do achieve the things I want now which are very few (I could do all that this year given my current position). I think my outlook would be broader. I would like to make the world a better place in my little way.
To whom much is given, much is expected.
Anyway, a couple of thousands (dollars) from where I am at now and I will be able to live freely with little or no worries. It is good to know that my happiest won't cost me a lot. I can't say the same for most people in the world today.
Until then I keep pushing.
