Hola! Soy Shaly Garcia, y para mis amigos, simplemente SHALY. De hecho, mi hija, mi única hija, dice que soy demasiado Shaly, y un par de amigos íntimos suelen usar la misma expresión. En realidad, me gusta ser Shaly… Siento que ese nombre transmite bastante bien lo que soy: una mujer idealista, apasionada, espiritual, y llena de mil proyectos en mi mente y corazón. A veces, soy una ola del mar, aventada por las circunstancias, que no siempre dejan extraer lo mejor de mi. Así es Shaly.! Y en este momento de mi vida, la aprecio y la respeto.

Shaly nació en Caracas (Venezuela), y en realidad, ya no se que edad tiene. A veces es toda una adolescente, llena de sueños e ilusiones...otras veces, es una señora muy bohemia, y muchas otras, es una abuelita llena de sabias reflexiones. Cada una de esas Shaly tiene su belleza. Pero no puedo negar que cada una de ellas también tiene su fealdad. Así es Shaly.

Hi! I'm Shaly Garcia, and to my friends, simply SHALY. In fact, my daughter, my only daughter, says I'm too Shaly, and a couple of close friends often use the same expression. Actually, I like being Shaly... I feel that name conveys quite well what I am: an idealistic, passionate, spiritual woman, and full of a thousand projects in my mind and heart. Sometimes, I am a wave of the sea, tossed by circumstances that don't always let me get the best out of me. That's Shaly! And at this moment of my life, I appreciate and respect her.

Shaly was born in Caracas (Venezuela), and actually, I don't know how old she is anymore. Sometimes she is a teenager, full of dreams and illusions... other times, she is a very bohemian lady, and many others, she is a grandmother full of wise reflections. Each of these Shaly's has her beauty. But I can't deny that each of them also has her ugliness. That's Shaly.

Shaly ha hecho muchas cosas en la vida, como la mayoría de los seres humanos. Algunas han sido maravillosas, apasionantes, y otras, no tanto. En un tiempo, fue una niña consentida, mimada y muy amada...luego, una adolescente llena de complejos, dudas y desaciertos… después, aprendiz de esposa y madre. Y esa, es una de las historias más divertidas de su vida! Un día, Shaly fue a control médico de rutina y entonces descubrió que su vida cambiaría para siempre en tan solo tres meses. Así de simple! Sin plan y sin aviso, la pequeña Oriana llegó a su vida, y entonces, la vida nunca más fue igual…

Convertirte en madre de pronto te da un super poder. Aun con todo tu miedo e inseguridad, adquieres una capa de superheroina, una varita mágica, un sexto sentido, que te transforma en alguien muy especial. Bueeeno!... Eso le pasó a Shaly. Antes de Oriana, ella era una persona muy inestable en sus emociones. Por bastante tiempo necesito medicamentos y hasta hospitalización. Pero tal como muchos predijeron, la pequeña Oriana llegó a su vida para enseñarle valentía, fortaleza y resiliencia.

Shaly has done many things in life, like most human beings. Some have been wonderful, exciting, and others, not so much. At one time, she was a spoiled, pampered and much loved child... then, a teenager full of complexes, doubts and mistakes... then, an apprentice wife and mother. And that is one of the funniest stories of her life! One day, Shaly went for a routine medical check-up and then discovered that her life would change forever in just three months. Just like that! Without plan and without warning, little Oriana came into her life, and then, life was never the same again....

Becoming a mother suddenly gives you super power. Even with all your fear and insecurity, you acquire a superheroine cape, a magic wand, a sixth sense, that transforms you into someone very special. Well... That happened to Shaly. Before Oriana, she was a very unstable person in her emotions. For quite some time she needed medication and even hospitalization. But as many predicted, little Oriana came into her life to teach her courage, strength and resilience.

Claro, en la historia de Shaly y Oriana también existe un “Señor Shaly”. El es parte de ese transitar de nuestra protagonista desde la fragilidad hacia la fortaleza. Los años junto al “Señor Shaly” han sido una verdadera escuela, donde ella ha estado aprendiendo a descubrirse y amarse, a través del conocer y el amar que le inspira este hombre. En su tiempo, él fue un verdadero príncipe azul...luego se volvió un maestro de la vida, así, sin previo aviso. Las lecciones y los métodos de enseñanza no siempre seguían la pedagogía esperada. Muchas veces, causaron heridas, angustia, dolor...pero, vaya que hubo aprendizaje!!!

Con los años, Shaly aprendía y crecía. En el camino, iba descubriendo sus verdaderas pasiones e intenciones. El proceso muchas veces fue divertido! Además de madre y esposa, Shaly jugó a ganar dinero siendo enfermera, comerciante, administrador, gerente, docente, y no sé cuantas cosas más. Cada uno de sus roles se protagonizaron con inmensa pasión, tratando de dejar una huella en cada paso del camino.

Of course, in Shaly and Oriana's story there is also a "Mr. Shaly". He is part of our protagonist's transition from fragility to strength. The years with "Mr. Shaly" have been a real school, where she has been learning to discover and love herself, through the knowledge and love that this man inspires in her. In his time, he was a true prince charming...then he became a master of life, just like that, without warning. Lessons and teaching methods did not always follow the expected pedagogy. Many times, they caused hurt, anguish, pain...but, boy, was there learning!!!!!

Over the years, Shaly learned and grew. Along the way, she was discovering her true passions and intentions. The process was often fun! In addition to mother and wife, Shaly played at earning money by being a nurse, a merchant, an administrator, a manager, a teacher, and I don't know how many other things. Each of her roles were played with immense passion, trying to leave a mark every step of the way.

Shaly descubre que las personas disfrutan su compañía. Quieren hablarle, contarle sus angustias, para ser escuchadas con empatía. Para ella, es fácil escuchar y empatizar. Y, aunque parece un don divino, de pronto siente que comienza a saturarse con tantos amigos que quieren usar su hombro para llorar. Entonces, se aísla ... .luego, sale de la madriguera, y busca a alguien que quiera llorar en su hombro. Muchos acuden. Shaly se satura emocionalmente, y de nuevo, se aísla. Ese es el ciclo en el que se encuentra desde hace un buen rato.

Shaly entiende que tiene habilidades innatas para el coaching. En realidad, disfruta al escuchar a las personas, y orientarlos en la organización emocional de sus pensamientos. Ve la vida y sus dificultades con una visión crítica. Los problemas son oportunidades de crecimiento, retos, palancas para desarrollar fortaleza y resiliencia. Le encanta la gente que proyecta la misma visión, pero en su entorno son pocos, si acaso alguno. A veces, Shaly se siente un ser extraño en ese entorno, frustrada e incomprendida por quienes visualizan otra realidad de vida.

Shaly desea, desde hace un rato, dedicarse a eso que le apasiona: el coaching, la oratoria motivacional, escribir un mensaje que despierte conciencias y estimule a una reingeniería de vida a todo el que lo desee. Ella deja la relativa “estabilidad” de su empleo docente a tiempo completo, para dedicarse a crear contenidos de alto impacto emocional, contenidos que puedan ser discursados, leídos o transmitidos en sesiones individuales de coaching. HIVE puede ser el trampolín en el que Shaly pueda compartir un mensaje que invite a la reflexión y el cambio, dejando una huella de alto impacto en quienes le escuchen.

Shaly cita de Flavia Weedn, pues sus palabras resumen la filosofía que la empuja: «Algunas personas entran en nuestras vidas y se van rápidamente. Algunas personas se quedan un rato y mueven nuestras almas a bailar. Nos despiertan a una nueva comprensión, dejan huellas en nuestro corazón y nunca, nunca, más, somos los mismos».

Esa es la Shaly que quiero ser. Agradezco el privilegio que me brindan @rutablockchain y @bluemist para embarcarme en esta nueva y emocionante aventura.

Shaly discovers that people enjoy her company. They want to talk to her, to tell her their anxieties, to be listened to with empathy. For her, it's easy to listen and empathize. And, although it seems like a divine gift, she suddenly feels that she starts to become saturated with so many friends who want to use her shoulder to cry on. So, she isolates herself .... .then, he comes out of the den, and looks for someone who wants to cry on his shoulder. Many come. Shaly becomes emotionally saturated, and again, she isolates herself. That's the cycle she's been in for a while now.

Shaly understands that she has innate coaching skills. She actually enjoys listening to people, and guiding them in the emotional organization of their thoughts. She sees life and its difficulties with a critical eye. Problems are opportunities for growth, challenges, levers to develop strength and resilience. She loves people who project the same vision, but in her environment there are few, if any. At times, Shaly feels like an outsider in that environment, frustrated and misunderstood by those who envision another reality of life.

Shaly wishes, for a while now, to dedicate herself to what she is passionate about: coaching, motivational speaking, writing a message that awakens consciences and stimulates a life re-engineering to anyone who wants it. She leaves the relative "stability" of her full-time teaching job to dedicate herself to creating content with high emotional impact, content that can be spoken, read or transmitted in individual coaching sessions. HIVE can be the springboard on which Shaly can share a message that invites reflection and change, leaving a high-impact mark on those who listen.

Shaly quotes from Flavia Weedn, as her words sum up the philosophy that drives her: "Some people come into our lives and leave quickly. Some people stay a while and move our souls to dance. They awaken us to a new understanding, they leave footprints in our hearts and we are never, ever, the same again."

That's the Shaly I want to be. I am grateful for the privilege afforded to me by @rutablockchain and @bluemist to embark on this exciting new adventure.
