De los pocos paseos que hemos podido tener aca en Colombia, uno de los mas recordados es el que hicimos apenas por un rato a un pueblo colonial de vocación turística llamado Villa de Leyva.
Se sitúa al noreste de Bogotá, en la provincia de Ricaurte
del departamento de Boyacá. Fue fundada en 1572 y es monumento nacional de Colombia desde 1954.
Su belleza se puede apreciar en los edificios de arquitectura colonial y calles empedradas, sin dejar de un lado la Plaza Mayor cuyo rededor es dominado por la iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, construida en el del siglo XVII.
Esta exhibe en su palmares el haber sido la Casa del Primer Congreso de las Provincias Unidas, donde se redactaron las nuevas leyes después de la independencia de 1812.
También encontraras la Casa Museo Antonio Nariño, donde falleció este prócer colombiano.
Of the few walks that we have been able to have here in Colombia, one of the most remembered is the one that we did just for a while to a colonial town with a tourist vocation called Villa de Leyva.
It is located northeast of Bogotá, in the province of Ricaurte
of the department of Boyacá. It was founded in 1572 and has been a national monument of Colombia since 1954.
Its beauty can be seen in the colonial architecture buildings and cobbled streets, without leaving aside the Plaza Mayor, which is dominated by the Nuestra Señora del Rosario church, built in the 17th century.
This exhibits in its palm groves having been the House of the First Congress of the United Provinces, where the new laws were drafted after independence in 1812.
You will also find the Antonio Nariño House Museum, where this Colombian hero died.

Un dia de semana, libre de trabajo, nos escapamos mi esposa y yo, a hacer ese paseo.
Nuestra ruta fue atípica, ya que tomamos un pequeño bus desde un pueblito muy pequeño y bucólico conocido como Arcabuco, desde donde parten esas unidades hacia la Villa, recorriendo un trazado rural, de carretera de tierra, a través de diversas fincas y haciendas.
One day off work, my wife and I ran away to do that walk.
Our route was atypical, since we took a small bus from a very small and bucolic town known as Arcabuco, from where those units leave for the Villa, traveling along a rural layout, on a dirt road, through various farms and estates.

En las calles adyacentes a la plaza, podrás conseguir muchas tiendas dedicadas al comercio. pero una en particular llamo nuestra atención por su temática: el chocolate. pertenece a otra institución de la ciudad: Museo del chocolate.

In the streets adjacent to the plaza, you can find many shops dedicated to commerce. but one in particular caught our attention for its theme: chocolate. It belongs to another institution in the city: Chocolate Museum.
