When we turn our faces towards the sky on certain nights, of course what we get is several planets that are standing and neatly arranged, that situation is often seen from the direction of the earth by every creature that has life on this earth. Basically there are a lot of celestial bodies in it, but what you can see is the moon and several other small stars. One of the celestial bodies is the moon so, the moon is a celestial body that we can see from Earth with the naked eye without the need to use any other magnifying tool
However, if you want to see it up close, you need a special tool such as a telescope, this tool can clarify the condition of the moon up close, so you can see its surface accurately even though the distance is still very far away. When you and I look at the moon from the direction of the earth, what you see is a beautiful glowing yellow ball, and the yellow color is very clear.
When you see the light from the moon in a far away sky, is that light coming from the moon? Or is there really another light which causes an effect so that the moon itself is luminous and colored? So in answering it, of course you must have accurate information to find out. So, in this case to find the answer! I once listened to astrology which came from a teacher myself when I was in school at that time. My teacher explained that, the visible light from the moon's direction or the yellow color that comes from the moon is light from the reflection of the sun itself.
The light produced by this moon is not the original light from the moon, but only the reflection of the sun because the moon cannot emit its own light.
So thus, the moon itself has no light or cahaya, basically the moon is dark without any light. If so, how does the moon change its shape?
Based on the question above, because humans see moon from the direction of the earth it has different characteristics. Sometimes the moon looks full and big, but sometimes the moon looks half way, even just a curved line like a crescent moon. The shape of the moon can be described in terms of the phases of the moon. Or we can say that the moon has certain phases such as:

The phase of the moon on this day is visible from the direction of the earth at the age of the moon 3 days, then the first visible crescent-shaped moon, and supported by sunny weather, and the phase of the appearance of the moon, different every time different depending on a particular month. For example, what happened in Muharram, the moon child was seen, indicating the age of the month 3 days. Therefore, humans know that if the moon has been seen (the beginning of the crescent) from the direction of the earth or precisely this August, the child of the moon has come out at sunset, indicating that the age of the moon is only 3 days old. Incidentally, in this August or the muharram month, the moon is very clear from the direction of the sun as it approaches maghib.
In the image that I have uploaded in this post, it is clear that the age of the moon has reached 5 days, I took this photo precisely on August 25, 2020, or to be precise on the afternoon of 7 Muharram 1442 Hijriyah. The camera I use is the Redmi Xiaomi 4X smartphone, but the camera is able to capture the moon child from a distance, meaning that this afternoon is very bright so it is clear that the moon is in the South Southwest of Aceh Indonesia.
Maybe if I had a sophisticated camera, of course my photos would be very beautiful and the crescent moon was very bright and very clear, this is because these days the weather is very supportive.
