Good night dear gem community, today again I bring you a very simple recipe to make, it was an idea that my mother gave me, because she saw a similar recipe and wanted to try it to see how it looks like, it is a crispy and very rich onion rings, for onion lovers will love it.
Buenas noches apreciada comunidad de gemas, hoy nuevamente les traigo una receta muy sencilla de hacer, fue una idea que me dio mi madre, ya que vio una receta similar y quiso probarla a ver que tal quedaba, se tratan de unos aros de cebolla crujientes y muy ricos, para los amantes de la cebolla les va a encantar.
The ingredients we will use are:
Los ingredientes que utilizaremos son:
- Onions / Cebollas
- Wheat flour / Harina de trigo
- Liquid or powdered milk / Leche loquida o en polvo
- One egg / Un huevo
- Salt / Sal
- Pepper / Pimienta
- Sazonatodo (or also paprika powder) / Sazonatodo (o también pimentón en polvo)
Procedure:
Procedimiento:
First we wash the onion very well, remove the first layer, cut off the ends, and cut into circles. Then we separate the layers of the onion into rings.
En primer lugar lavamos muy bien la cebolla, removemos la primera capa, cortamos los extremos, y cortamos en circunferencias. Luego vamos separando las capas de la cebolla en aros.
Then we leave the rings soaking in cold water, in order to maintain the taste of the onion.
Luego dejamos los aros remojando en agua fría, para poder mantener el sabor de la cebolla.
With the rest of the ingredients, the milk, the pepper, the seasoning, the salt and the egg we make a kind of mixture for the rings.
Con el resto de los ingredientes, la leche, la pimienta, el sazonatodo, la sal y el huevo hacemos una especie de mezcla para los aros.
First we add the egg, then we beat it and add some liquid milk. Then we add wheat flour, salt, pepper and seasoning, to mix everything homogeneously.
Primero agregamos el huevo, luego batimos y agregamos un poco de leche liquida. Agregamos luego harina de trigo, sal, pimienta y sazonatodo, para así mezclar todo homogéneamente.
We dried the onion rings that were in the water, then soaked them in the mixture and placed them to fry.
Secamos los aros de cebolla que estaban en el agua, para luego empaparlos de mezcla y colocarlos a freír.
You can also add some wheat flour or grated bread to the rings after soaking them in the mixture if you like, it is optional.
Finally we put them on a towel to dry them from the excess oil.
También puedes agregarle un poco de harina de trigo o pan rayado a los aros luego de empaparlos en la mezcla si gustas, es opcional.
Finalmente colocamos en un toallin para que se sequen del exceso de aceite.
Everything is ready to serve and try with a delicious garlic sauce, mayonnaise or tomato sauce.
Todo esta listo para servir y probar con una deliciosa salsa de ajo, mayonesa o salsa de tomate.
As you can see it is a very simple recipe, you don't need many things, basic food that we can have in our homes.
It was the first time we tried this recipe, and it came out very well, and everything was delicious, I hope that if you like it you can prepare it at home.
