A few weeks ago, I commented several times that I had to travel to Ecuador a couple of years ago, because what I want to share with you today are some of those adventures I lived through this beautiful country. I spent approximately 6 months in Quito specifically, and although my life there basically consisted of work, I had some opportunities to distract myself with my co-workers.

The memory I want to share is nothing less than the night of Halloween, that day our boss was going to a costume party with his friends, so we left a little earlier than our usual schedule. My partner Carlos had already invited me to his house, to go to a Colombian Disco with the owners of a bakery called Esquina Caleña, the bakery was next door to the ice cream shop where I worked.
So, the owner of the establishment invited us to go with them, with all the team that worked in Esquina Caleña

When we left work, we went to Carlos's house, there we got ready and his mother helped us with our make-up, we also took the opportunity to play a little with my partner's brothers.

When we finished our terrifying makeup, had dinner and finished dressing, we went by taxi to the disco, called Los gemelos, it was a very big disco where many Venezuelans and Ecuadorians also frequented, so in this place people of 3 different nationalities gathered to enjoy.

When we arrived our friends from the corner of Cali were waiting for us, there they received us with a little "guaro" as they call it, which is basically Aguardiente Antioqueño. We sat down at our respective table to wait for the party to begin.

There we met more people of Colombian nationality, almost all those who were in this party were friends of Cali corner because it was a very healthy and fun, all were owners of premises in Ecuador, and I commented that annually made this party to remember his beloved land Colombia.
The dance started, and we all went out on the floor, they played all kinds of music, salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton, electronic, vallenato, and many more. I danced as much as I could, with some friends we made there, everything was fun, because since we were in make-up, people invited us to take a picture with them.

From the stage you could see live talent, a Venezuelan interpreting Venezuelan and Colombian salsa songs, it was a show, everyone wanted to take a picture with him when the show ended.

A costume contest began, and I didn't want to participate, I preferred to see my friend Carlos, here they did many activities, dances, questions, jokes, everything. The participants did a great job and put on a good show, but at the end of it all "The Nun" won.

Once the contest was over, the end of our Halloween night arrived, it was 3 am and until that time the party was allowed, we said goodbye with the Colombian national anthem and then with the Venezuelan one.

I still remember my hangover the next day, but it was my day off and I had to work, it was the best, it was one of the best days I lived in Quito, and I not would like to relive it again.

With this I say goodbye, thank you very much for your attention, see you in a next post.
