When I joined POB, the price of the token was close to $1. I was very excited, and I found so many people excited about that as well. The price was higher than hive price, and most people in hive liked to earn some POB. But then some drama happened, and the price went almost the half. Then it went lower than hive. But I still see so many holding the token. And some are even buying more and staking more. So, there is some potential for sure.
Today, the price is lower than $0.2. It's 5 times lower than a few months ago. I found a few posts talking about that in the trending page. For example : Did we find the real POB price? , or The Big Short - POB? , or POB is a variable income asset!. Most of them are positive about the price, and they see it just an opportunity to accumulate, because the price may go up again.
But in this post I would like to write about the use cases of POB and why someone needs to buy it and join the tribe to make it grow and improve.
The first thing I would like to mention is the concept itself. It's a proof of brain that existed for more than five years. Maybe it was created even before, when people were rewarded for their knowledge, but it wasn't on the blockchain before. It was created with steem blockchain, the blockchain that turns to hive, and I think the concept affected a lot of us here. We may notice it even in other tribes and many hive communities. Because we are all proving somehow, we have a brain and earning from that.
So many new adopters to the concept are still here, posting, commenting, curating, investing and present in our community. Proof of brain is not just a tribe, but a connection between those people, who like to support the concept and to create a great content and to support it. People who think, who analyze, who have a lot to share. People with experience, with passion and a great view about how things should be done. Even among such people we may find some misunderstanding or difference, but from that the value could be created. Only the thing that have a lot to discuss, could be so valuable and important for everyone. We notice, even if most crypto moved to proof of stake, we still have people prefer the proof of brain, and they don't want to get rid of it.
I can write a lot about this topic, but let me be closer to the use case. So, I think what of the most important use cases of POB is the community we are finding here. I followed, and I've been followed by so many great people here. So, joining POB may lead us to find like-minded people and a great audience that may enrich our experience on the blockchain. This audience is not only here for money, but they have so many things connecting them here. Those links could be the best connection between them and what they all do. That's why I liked the word ''Spectrum'' and that's why I wrote this about the tribe Let the Spectrum be in POB !.
So, the use case of the token is not only to find great content creators, but also their content, the ideas they share, the experience they expose. We can learn from all that. We can learn about so many ways to curate content, to create it, to be motivated and active. POB people do their best to show their integrity, their knowledge and their experience they got while creating and curating the content.
Another use case is to meet specific people to learn from. Just like @onealfa who is the best example about accumulating and staking. He's also a big example about how to be a great curator. Look at @vempromundo and his ideas. His initiative POB TALK about making people enjoy being here. Look at the contest POB Word of the Week created by @calumam and organized by @scholaris now. Look at the initiative of @memeisfun that's promoting POB on twitter : POB trending. @amr008 and his Engagement Project to support comments on POB. Many curators who are supporting POBleus curation project just like @thomashnblum. @interpretation and great reports shared by the account. And so many other useful and valuable members of the tribe.
POB is one of the most collaborative tribes, not only by the team, but also by all members, curators and stakeholders. Maybe more use cases are needed and the developers like @leprechaun will bring us more use cases in the future. Because I think the development is what can bring so many use cases to the token. I also like how most members here are active not only here, but in all crypto community. So, people like @offgridlife maybe found active in many of them. As well others like @kamran-rkploy and so many I followed, and I find everywhere, friendly, welcoming and informative. I'm sure with time we may find so many others joining the movement and enriching the space with their intellect.
Maybe we don't have that much use cases and that's why the price is going down, but we may always build something, come up with ideas and keep building this community and be the best example for others !

Wow this is so amazing, I really enjoyed the quality and content of this post, this is like giving total hope to those who lost hope and look down on POB price without remembering the benefits that pob have them previously.
I so appreciate you touched all sector of what proof of brain in all about about and the use cases. That we all built. One thing I love about this community is the engagement in the community is high and people are taking active participation in whatever idea that is initiated here. Comment on posts gives a very good motivation to the writer knowing the post is contributing positively to participants.

I really got excited reading the title of this article. I wondered to myself if there was a use case that I didn't know existed.
Then it struck me:
That's it. When it comes down to it the token can even be used today in the community. The time will come that we will be able to trade goods and services within the POB community. Individually we can do that now. Some artists or musicians can be paid to create digital content. Some craftsmen and can sell their products. Teachers can open information channels. In time the proper apps can be applied.
The most important thing at this moment is to create a community of mutual trust and understanding. This is the foundation for any future application to be built upon. That's why I continue to stack POB. This community is not dying. We are learning from each other and growing. I think the current price of POB represents the current value of POB well, but I see great potential for the future as more users collectively begin to build on POB.
I'm glad you see the potential here. The more of us see that, the better for everyone. I just think we need to always come up with new ideas to improve the community and that will help the price always.

I remember promoting a website before joining the blockchain, and they had a referral program. So, the guy who invited me told me a good thing. I have been some days away from the net, I didn't know I had downloaded the token. However, I am like many here: I believe in POB and in those of us who make life in it. And although in the last month I have not been as active as I would like, I do not plan to leave neither the community nor Hive aside. I have plans and I know I can do very well here. Actually, POB is for everyone, but the time to accumulate POB is when the price is low. That's what we should be doing with every asset we buy (cryptocurrency, metals, commodities, stocks, etc.) Markets go in cycles, so it's just a matter of time before anything in a downturn moves into the upswing phase of the cycle.
