Con estas fotos estoy participando en el concurso fotográfico #pobphotocontest (organizado por @friendlymoose). El tema de esta semana es “naranja o anaranjado” (en inglés “orange”) . Las reglas que rigen esta competencia se encuentran en este enlace .
The English word “orange” could refer to the fruit and also to its color, and this has different interpretations and meanings. When I read about the #pobphotocontest, I thought about the possible photos that I would send to the contest. After thinking for some time I decided to take the meaning in the most literal way. Even though the images does not correspond to oranges properly, they show grapefruits and tangerines.
El vocablo inglés “orange” se traduce como “naranja”, pero se refiere tanto al fruto como al color, es decir “anaranjado” y este puede tener muchas connotaciones. Cuando supe del concurso #pobphotocontest, pensé sobre cuales serían las fotos que enviaría, luego de reflexionar un pco decidí irme en su sentido más literal en las frutas de ese color. Aunque las frutas que muestran las imágenes no son naranjas propiamente dichas sino toronjas (también conocidas como pomelos o “grapefruits”) y mandarinas.
