Yeah the latin name is Auricularia auricula-judae. It has anticancer properties and works really well in soups. I like to boil it in spices and salt then dry it out again to make a sort of jerky or chip out of it.
Wow. I love it in soups though. very tasty. Makes the soup look busy😅
