Cannabis Update - Day 55

in Canna-Curate2 years ago

Hello Everyone,

Things have been coming along really good with the female Crack Mack cannabis plant.

Let's have a look at how she is doing.

Anyone who knows anything about cannabis cultivation knows that this stage of vegetative growth development is pretty much the second most exciting stage of cannabis cultivation, with flowering being the most exciting of course.

Why is this an exciting stage of development?

It's because the plant has reached its fully mature state and is now growing massive amounts of foliage with very thick stems.

Let's have a look at how powerful these stems are.

Here in this gif we can see some blue LST (low stress training) clips on the main branch systems. (Applied to plant yesterday.)

My use of these clips is to widen the branch structures so that the big fan leaves and inner node growth have room, while offering better airflow and light distribution to the plant.

One way a cultivator may determine that their plant is growing rapidly and healthy is to pay attention to how long low stressed areas take to recover.

We can see in this photo above that the plant has fully recovered from its bent state and is now growing back towards the light.

This process of correcting itself only took the plant approximately four hours, and that tells me it is very healthy and growing vigorously.

These clips are quite fat, but there is still a chance the plant might break the clip(s) before they are removed due to how strong and fast healthy cannabis stems tend to grow.

I'm hoping this plant get's at least twice this size before I induce flowering, and my time frame for flower inducing is the first week of July.

In other news...

There are a few peppers growing on this cayenne pepper plant, and they are not safe from animal attacks...

Good thing it will grow more for me ;D

That will do it for this cannabis update.

What do you all think of how things are looking?

I would love to read your thoughts in the comment section!

Thank you for stopping by!

Have a good day! -@futuremind

How would you know or differentiate between a female plant and the male plant?

The females have white hairs called pistils.
The males have spade shaped sacks with pollen and no white hairs.
The females make the bud to smoke, males only make pollen. If pollen gets in the female, it makes seeds in the bud.

That gif is epic 🤣 super admire of your enthusiasm towards your pepper plant 🥰

I had a feeling you would like the pepper plant gif 😂

Plants are looking fat

Thanks @davedickeyyall. She's really taking her time to get big, but I have a feeling it will be well worth the wait.

How many times have you topped her?

A couple times, and I train lower branch systems (where it will typically be defoliated)

Here's what the branch system looks like.

Five mainstems, and working the LST's to widen and bush this thing out, and going to apply double scrog for flowering.

I just jizzed in my pants.

🤣

Dein Beitrag ist sehr wunderschön zu lesen. Es gefällt mir sehr und hoffe dein !WEED Wird dir dann super schmecken

Vielen Dank! Ich strebe nach starkem Cannabis 😎

Mind if I use that table you got there for my next grow?

If you're in the area and need a folding table, sure.

Unless you mean the icon table used in the post lol. Not sure which table you're talking about bro, forgive the stoner moments please lol.

If you want to use that icon table it's freely available for use with our community.

both plants look really healthy :D amazing jjob with your plants

Thank you man, I give my best effort to try to keep them healthy.

Damn dude that Green Crack looks amazing!

It's Crack Mack brother! Green Crack pollenated with BMS and MM :D Pretty sure this seed came from a BMS pollenation. :D

Looks wonderful. You seem to have the properly colored thumb. 😎👍

Thank you @novacadian!

That's a compliment of the highest order for someone who grow plants 💚

Crack Mack develops strongly, grows quickly with abundant branching and numerous flowering points. Yours are getting 🔝

Get ready for heavy harvests of dense, resinous buds with THC potential of up to 30%.
From Crack I like the fresh aroma and the intense, long-lasting experience. In addition to the wave of energy and creativity, ideal for moments of inspiration and focus. Good to work with, calms and motivates.

Thank you kindly @cryptoreforma.

The parent genetics of the Crack Mack were Green Crack and Big Mack, both high end sativa strains that produce great psychoactive effects.

As far as I know this is the only Crack Mack growing in the entire world, unless some of the seeds I produced found themselves in other growers hands :)

I have never grown cannabis but i think i should when i will have a bigger home. i will take advice from you for sure.

Thank you my friend. I hope achieve getting a bigger soon home and are able to grow some cannabis. I will be happy to give you some advice when you get started.

Right on. I liked the table with the icons. They make it easy to digest information. Good to see that there are markers that you can use to determine if a plant is doing well or not. Excellent garden update.

Thank you @litguru!

I think this plant is going to end up being quite a monster with its overall size once it's flowering.

I like the icon table too, props to @solominer for creating that awesome template table for the cannabis community to use.

I can't wait to see the bounty.

Those aloe vera plants are beautiful too, and when you apply the LST it is the craftsmanship itself to bring those branches to that specific shape.

The green that you have looks quite healthy, the good thing is that indoor you can totally control the pests, in my case I have mixed cultivation but I have not had problems with pests because I always go to the detail and when I see something strange I already have the natural antidote to eradicate them.
