When I was on Uptrennd - there was just so much that should not have been upvoted. It was just low quality spam that a bunch of people upvoted - because they were getting upvotes in return.
DO NOT GET ME WRONG... I love having the ability to upvote friends - and since we can't read it all - i LOVE having autovotes!!!!!!!!
I have absolutely NO PROBLEM autovoting people to support them since we just can't manually do it all if we don't have the time.
But what was happening on Uptrennd (and really - all over!!!) is that you'll get these clans that have NOTHING to do about autovoting proven quality - but just upvoting crap - in droves LOL. and the stuff that's GREAT - doesn't get any light on it - because the good writers don't have help. so they leave. and so we just end up concentrating more toxicity.
so our little project is just to help shine the light on the ones who need it. (and when I say writing - I mean ALL GOOD WRITING. not just fiction. but WRITING! HEHEHE LIKE YOUR AMAZING SILVER POSTS!!! or your explanation of the beautiful barns you see and shoot... THIS.. this is what i'm talking about. great interesting worthy content!!!)
and newbies/oldbies - don't have to wait to be discovered, or get discouraged waiting. They get discovered by 5 new people EVERY day they submit!
They control it themselves - by simply submitting and getting seen the same amount of time as anyone else.

I'm very excited about where the Dreem Port idea is headed! Not only is this something we really need... I think it will work well to determine the over all health and well-being of the online communities we call home. When I was on Uptrennd - there was just so much that should not have been upvoted. It was just low quality spam that a bunch of people upvoted - because they were getting upvotes in return.
DO NOT GET ME WRONG... I love having the ability to upvote friends - and since we can't read it all - i LOVE having autovotes!!!!!!!!
I have absolutely NO PROBLEM autovoting people to support them since we just can't manually do it all if we don't have the time.
But what was happening on Uptrennd (and really - all over!!!) is that you'll get these clans that have NOTHING to do about autovoting proven quality - but just upvoting crap - in droves LOL. and the stuff that's GREAT - doesn't get any light on it - because the good writers don't have help. so they leave. and so we just end up concentrating more toxicity.
so our little project is just to help shine the light on the ones who need it. (and when I say writing - I mean ALL GOOD WRITING. not just fiction. but WRITING! HEHEHE LIKE YOUR AMAZING SILVER POSTS!!! or your explanation of the beautiful barns you see and shoot... THIS.. this is what i'm talking about. great interesting worthy content!!!)
and newbies/oldbies - don't have to wait to be discovered, or get discouraged waiting. They get discovered by 5 new people EVERY day they submit!
They control it themselves - by simply submitting and getting seen the same amount of time as anyone else.
If they want more exposure? they can get that too - in some fun little challenges! hehehe but more on that as we grow!

I'm very excited about where the Dreem Port idea is headed! Not only is this something we really need... I think it will work well to determine the over all health and well-being of the online communities we call home. The friendly competition will be good as it will show where content is flowing... quality content! And that's a solid indication of where people are migrating to as well.
Way to go dreeming this UP! I see this as such a positive project and I'm so sure that it's going to take off!

The Threespeak portal isn't working, but I don't need it to work ... @dreemsteem, you are the reason my work is being read AROUND THE WORLD today, because of what you did on Hive's predecessor and therefore gave me the position to have the idea to create the content that became Black, White, and RED All Over.
