Welcome to my Beautifully Sublime Sunday
Well it was a quiet Sunday here at the lake.
Mr Sun was a bit on the annoying side today. This morning, he came blaring into my bedroom and woke me from my restful slumber. I do love to see how the fog plays around most mornings over the lake in the Fall. It was like a cloud had decided to visit with the surface of the lake 🙂
Even the jungle could not keep out that sun. Doesn't help that I took the curtains down to Virginia. Gee, it is possible I might even use them someday, but then again, perhaps not.

Well the project Jeep runs and drives so far. We just bought a new battery for it and need to pop it in. Now it needs some "new" used tires. Ben replaced fuel tank and fuel line. Also they did brakes, calipers, rotors, drums, master cylinder and lines! Will slowly add new belts and hoses as well.
I made some of my fave, swimming in butter biscuits.
I put my timer for 18 minutes and start checking from there.
I was also in the mood for of this delish soup!
Boil eight cups of water.
Whisk in the powder.
In no time you have a thick rich soup that warms you from the inside!
I saw there were a number of guys burning leaves around the lake. It reminded me to burn some of that brush I had piled up. Seemed in very little time half of my pile was done!
Let's hope for a good week ahead!

The lake is beautiful as the fog lifts from it. Wow! You already took the curtains down from the house? Must be getting close to moving day!

Bear Creek makes many good flavors of yummy soups. So perfect for a cool day prompts a spur of the moment hankering for a warm-me-up. Cheap, quick and easy, they are a fave.

Never had a powdered soup before. It looks good in the pan though.
It was cloudy off and on today, but the temps were nice outside.
OMG do yourself a favor and try one of the Bear Creek soups. So tasty and so easy. You will thank me later. Cheap too.
I will check when I put in another grocery order. I am not familiar with the brand, so don't know if they are available here.
It makes 8 cups of soup for $3.50 at Walmart 😃
I did look and saw creamy potato on my local one and something else too, but not the broccoli and cheese one. I still might try one next time I order and see just what you call good soup. :)
The creamy potato is good and if you like chowder, throw in a can of clams and done!
That's the time sun can be irritating. Rain is good for sleeping in but you need some clear sky for the jeep work. Soup looks yummy.
Rainy days are the best for sleeping. Snowy days are good as well. I think it is because there is no guilt about not going outdoors.
