The bougainvillea is a very common plant that growth in tropical and subtropical regions. It is an ornamental plant grown in gardens due its beautiful flowers, with vivid and divers colors. The one shown in the photography has a color between pink and violet.

A pink Cadillac seen somewhere on the roads of Scotland - this is my entry for the current contest. Turns out I don't photograph pink things 😃, or it just wasn't happening. I generally avoid taking pictures in motion, but how can you miss a sight like this - firstly, the color of this old timer is strange in itself, secondly, the car stopped just like that in the middle of the street, I guess it stopped for the fork and then it didn't could drive off.
I wonder how many car models in the world that were built in the last century continue to perform flawlessly, have been driven a lot and continue to be driven without breaking down like this in the middle of the street or going into service every week. 🤔

I can't say for sure. As far as I found out, Elvis Presley's pink Cadillac, which is the most famous example of such a car, was actually painted with a white roof later, which this car here appears to be as well. Maybe it could be said that its owner is a big and ardent Elvis Presley fan more than a Cadillac fan. 😃🤔 Well, I didn't get a chance to ask him.

If I think about travel and pink, than the first thing I think of are flowers! And flowers in the Netherlands is tulip season! But I don't have pictures of pink tulips, I do have a picture of pink hyacinths!
These workers walking trough the fields to get ride of the dead flowers or flowers of a different color that are lost!
Wow. These workers must be high by the aroma of the flowers, I couldn't imagine how intense that would be.

This was pink trumpet tree blossom in Bangkok in March, 2023. That was amazing, you couldn't help having fun with all these flowers - taking images, throwing them up, running through them, etc. I had a separate post about that blossom.
P.S. Now I am not sure if the pink contest has been finished (with the bougainvillea image as the winner) or not... But ok, I am pushing the botton "reply" 😀
