Hello all my friends, especially those who are members of the #HiveLearners community. Thank you to the team because I was still given the opportunity to be here among all of you, on this occasion I will take part in the weekly featured contest with the theme we have agreed on together, namely "Trust Traditional".

In each culture, there are beliefs that have been passed down through generations, in this era you probably find it difficult to relate to them. But they are still being practiced.
Tell us about it, and if you feel it should be abolished.

I will discuss one of the traditional beliefs that come from my area, namely "PEUSIJUEK" (which can mean peace or tranquility), this belief has been passed down from generation to generation from our ancestors and is still preserved and practiced until now.

WHAT IS "PEUSIJUEK"

This belief is one of the traditional processions in our culture that is still practiced today, usually carried out at every sacred event or other things that are considered important, the Acehnese believe in PEUSIJUEK as a form of prayer and hope to be given smoothness and peace.

PEUSIJUEK IS USUALLY PERFORMED ON WHAT EVENTS?

In general, all events held by the Acehnese people are always accompanied by PEUSIJUEK, but you need to know that it is not only at large events that the Acehnese do this, even most people apply this belief to small things, events that are accompanied by the PEUSIJUEK belief are events. weddings, thanksgiving events, when you want to occupy a new house, even on small things like when you just bought a new vehicle, for the safety and luck of the people of aceh do PEUSIJUEK first. and one more thing you should know is, when there are parties who are in conflict or fighting, people will reconcile the two with the PEUSIJUEK event, because according to its meaning it is peace and tranquility.

PROCEDURE FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF PEUSIJUEK

for its implementation there are several stages, but they are very simple, and of course they will be carried out by people who are familiar with the field, first reading certain readings, and then sprinkling or sprinkling the prepared water while praying to the PROPHET MUHAMMAD. (the majority of the people of Aceh are Muslim).

DOES IT NEED TO BE REMOVED?

I don't think it is necessary, so far the people of Aceh in general still strongly believe in this and no one has protested about the PEUSIJUEK belief, even for the people of Aceh, an event would not be complete if it was not accompanied by the presence of PEUSIJUEK.

OK, maybe that's a little description that I can write about one of the TRADITIONAL BELIEFS that has been handed down from the time of the ancestors of the Acehnese people and still survives to this day, this is very interesting, I am very happy to raise topics like this, because maybe children Modern times nowadays pay less attention to things like this, it's very unfortunate.

THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY TEAM, GREETINGS FROM ME @fery

obviously i think you will choose pesijuek Pruet it's even better i don't understand enough about this 😍

Provided everyone is comfortable with the tradition and it does not endanger the lives of people, then it can as well be observed.
This is beautiful indeed, it is the first time I am hearing about it.
Thank you for sharing it with us.
