So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on our second topic for this week which is “THE IDEAL ADULT AGE.”
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “WHAT ARE YOU DRINKING?” This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the water that they drank and the steps they took to ensure that it was clean enough for them to be consumed. From boiling to other measures in place, it’s good to see that people pay a lot of attention to what goes into their bodies.
We got to see how far people are willing to go to get good water, we also saw that they’re willing to pay a lot to make sure their water is as clean as can be. This is a reminder of how important water is to us, and that is a fact.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w112e1 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us about the steps she took to purify her water and make it drinkable for herself and her family. From filtration, to boiling and even onto the use of ice, there are various steps that’s taken and in the end the water is good enough for everyone.
NAVIGATING THE CHALLENGES OF ACCESSING CLEAN WATER by @vickoly
For this author, he used to prefer buying sachet water. That was his go-to for clean water and he regularly paid visits to the factories to ensure they were being hygeine conscious. But with the economic meltdown, it became difficult to keep buying sachet water, and now he has resorted to boiling his water. Which is even more effective and trustworthy because he’d do it all himself.

This author shared with us how he was working to get good water. It doesn’t come easily and without adequate infrasctructure to cater to the water needs of the people, more and more problems associated with water keep coming up. It can only get better if everyone comes together to make it work.
