So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “LETTING GO”.

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “THE ALIEN PLANET”.

This topic was geared toward each member of the community sharing their thoughts on the possibility of relocating to a new planet. Leaving everything behind here on earth and starting over on a new planet is something that not everyone is used to, and thus, it brought about a mixed reaction.

We got to see that many people would have jumped at the opportunity to move to a new planet, while others would rather remain on Earth. The idea of starting over on a new planet was not as attractive as others found it, and there were so many complications that could be born of it. So, no interplanetary relocation for them. It was an enlightening post, indeed.

For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w185e3; tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors, will be listed below.

This author told us that he won’t consider relocating to another planet because he just can’t imagine leaving his family and friends behind. Any time spent on the new planet would be extremely boring without them. There are so many things that he will lack on the new planet, and as such, he’s not really interested in taking such a trip.

EARTH IS HOME by @emrysjobber

For this author, he says that he would only take such a drastic decision if it were a do-or-die affair. If not, he’d much rather stay on Earth. He’s not the adventurous type, and unless there’s a major reason to prompt the need for going to a new planet, he’d much rather remain right here on his home planet.

A NEW PLANET AND NEW ADVENTURES? MAYBE NOT FOR ME by @shiftrox

For this author, he told us that he won’t be too excited about having to move to a new planet. There are so many conditions he has for such an undertaking, especially being a family man. So, if they’re met, he’d definitely consider it. If not, he’d much rather remain right here on earth.

It could be from a place of love and care, but they simply choose not to see things our way. And in the interest of personal growth, you either leave them behind or remain stuck with them. How do you make such a choice?”
